2024 checking in, and a 1981 child here who listened to ever track and word from MM. At 42 now its takes me back to the streets I walked during this time and didnt die... Hallelujah.
Amazing song. Makes me think of a young child battling cancer. Holding on for as long as he can, not for his own life, but the devastation it will cause his parents. After years of pain and suffering he finally lets go and is at peace.
Oh, mother I was born in your eyes I was walking The day I came to life And I've come beside myself to know I'm just a person with highs and lows Oh, father I was raised in your hands I was fighting Before I could understand And I've got a lot of things to learn And things I don't think that I deserve Come lay your head And come rest your tired eyes Fall back instead Feel your breath internalize And come lay your head And come rest your tired eyes And fall back instead Fall back instead When I try to fall asleep I'm lifted from my bed sheets Where the ground is falling down And the night is far too loud I'm giving up I'm giving in Everything is rising Come and rest your tired eyes Your youth's fading Everyone is leaving And I cannot complain
All bands should do this, play live all the songs from an album just to let us watch it. How many times i've looked a particular song performed live in youtube without finding what im looking for, this is great.
Consider how much time goes into each song, where the vocals support the instrumentals, not the other way around...plus the fact that this sound isn't yet mainstream means I can still hold them very dear to my heart. Big things to come from this band, can't wait!
I listen and study many, many genres of music, I listen to a lot of music and know a lot of artists, I write music myself! but you guys, you are special, you have some elusive soul, very subtle and sincere, your album of the same name will forever remain in my list of the most important and significant albums, each song is a masterpiece, touching, sensual, sincere, open, and most interestingly energetic!, amazing subtle energy, thank you for this incredible album, it's with me forever.
Loving the overall sound of the tracks that MovMou has released. Waves was a brilliant album with a harder sound. But I have a feeling this new chilled-out vibe, pop-sounding at times might be better than Waves.

Remember they’re DYI lightning setup?
um get back together. we need more albums like this. 2024 here
The MOST underrated backup singer.
The drums seal the deal on this one.
His drumming always does! Love 'Pneuma', it's just a chaotic outpouring of emotion. My all time favorite. I dream of a "volume II" of it.
The sound quality is amazing coming from a live recording!
I have listened to this song everyday since the album came out. Never gets old.
still as awesome
“Day 2,687 still the vibe”
still ?
Still to this day?!
please answer, still? join to the goup

Oh, mother
I was born in your eyes
I was walking
The day I came to life
And I've come beside myself to know
I'm just a person with highs and lows
Oh, father
I was raised in your hands
I was fighting
Before I could understand
And I've got a lot of things to learn
And things I don't think that I deserve
Come lay your head
And come rest your tired eyes
Fall back instead
Feel your breath internalize
And come lay your head
And come rest your tired eyes
And fall back instead
Fall back instead
When I try to fall asleep
I'm lifted from my bed sheets
Where the ground is falling down
And the night is far too loud
I'm giving up
I'm giving in
Everything is rising
Come and rest your tired eyes
Your youth's fading
Everyone is leaving
And I cannot complain

Just put my sweet baby to sleep to this song. Thanks Greg, Nick and Mitch. 😮
Almost a decade later and this is still fucking amazing. Almost brings a tear to the eye. Excellent group of dudes!
2020 here. This just always brings me back to my center.
2023 here, and I feel the exact same way.

Such a lovely song. The lyrics... poetry

This Band>
The tuning is DADGAE
10/10
🕊2:22
Wake me up when September's here.......
Is the tuning used in this song DADF#AE still?
2021.
I feel strong American Football vibes here
needs to pick up somewhere to give me that Penuma feel
Good but too short!
I think he tunes F# down to F in this song
Not one dislike

Not anymore
They should be much bigger.
