That Portland Plywood look is sure to entice tourist and businesses to come to Portland.
Portland's CDX plywood storefronts are the new aesthetics of retail. Open air market is totally consistent with the city's inclusiveness and accessibility for all.

But we drove through downtown Portland near State and dad was probably about twenty or thirty people sitting up under the front side of what used to be the bank there by the water fountain and probably about 20 of them was doing drugs right out in the open and the other ones were dealing and one woman was even having sex

Ignores the opioid epidemic in the red states. Drugs exist and are used in every city doesn't matter if there is a blue or red in charge. The war on drugs has been a failure we need to find a new way forward. Maybe we should start with why people are using drugs.
