This is a great idea. I would definitely volunteer myself for an interview. I am a normal 22 year old hobbiest magician who has a passion for creating magic. Ever since I got back into magic a year ago I promised myself I would never stop. Yes I get busy with life but I always have magic on my mind.
Very on point... I barely perform for people and I don't do it professionally obviously. I always have a deck of cards near me, even when I'm not home I carry one in my backpack. Sadly, as you say, the passion is not there as it used to. I used to know a lot of tricks, practice all the time, even cardistry, and now sometimes a lot of days go by with me not touching the cards... So, it's difficult. Life's pressures and growing up make it tough. Following this channel makes me realize I'm still interested in magic and I'm grateful for it. Thanks.
The psychopathic behaviour that the internet cultivates never fails to shock me. Jesus Christ people, Craig is just a magician. If you spent the time you put into harassing him actually working on your magic, maybe you wouldn't be totally shit.
I am a hobbyist who has recently returned to magic after a 20 year hiatus. I really enjoy your videos. They have really helped me catch up on what I have missed in the last two decades. Thanks for all the content.
Don't quit please, but by all means take all the breaks you need and don't ever feel that if for one day, or one week, or one month we don't get a video we will feel disappointed, we are just grateful for everything you share, every video is a gift, but your wellbeing is happiness is the biggest gift you can share with us
Thank you for this video. I am sorry you have to deal with rotten people. I really enjoy magic and want to perform for people, but am stuck in a lousy life situation. My current feeling is that I don't want the crud in my life to poison the things that I enjoy (magic, 3D printing, etc.) God willing, I will get past the junk before I die.
The haters never go away....ask Chris Ramsey. You do however have to accept its not aimed at you but you just happen to be a stop on their journey, if you give them the air to breathe they will stick around, if you give them no space they will indeed move on...just takes a strong will and time. The guy that seems to cope with this kind of problem on UA-cam is Barry Lewis....behind the scenes he gets no end of crap from the haters but if you watch his videos he has the knack of not showing it....and that is what you have to do.

My two cents : This is your second video about quitting, I fear we won't see you again after the third. Self restraint is the sign of the true master. Maybe five releases a year instead of ten would be a start. Sorry about that.

This is crazy, why, WHY would anyone have anything against you?
I think this at times but as soon as I go to a wedding and perform it makes everything so worth while!
I wanna Quit No shows in a long time !! If it don't pick up my business I am Fucking Done !! I have to pay for my website fees & Gig salad Fees ! Just a bad Year !! Sometimes Just take a break . Great knowledge Craig love this video It's like anything in life when you want something so bad you don't get it !! referring to shows ! . Years ago I said fuck It ! started selling baseball trading cards made some money !! What do you know ? once I stepped away from the magic my phone started ringing like crazy !! So what I learned from this Do something else Fuck the magic before you know it you will be back phone will Ring ! In fact I haven't done a trick in 3 weeks !! If you step away for a while you will come back . True it's like being in a relationship Craig is right "Just Have Fun"
Sometimes taking a break is beneficial …. and I feel you resurface more creative. Because your inner mind never quits.
Have some time out. Yes I have left magic and come back. If something becomes a chore and not a pleasure it's time to give it a rest. There are always people out there who have pleasure in knocking good people down.
Thanks for the insight! To think “It’s not easy” now and again helps 😅 I mean, to acknowledge, that it is really sometimes not easy (a trick, a sleight, a move), helps to value one’s on effort and even the slightest progress or just that you stuck with it despite of no (measurable) progress…
It remains “The best hobby in the world” as someone else always reminds me - and is great if it puts a smile on somebody’s face 👍🤗😇😎

I personally do not know how you do so much but I’m glad you do! I love magic too and I get a high from watching people’s faces and I do magic for people wherever I go. I believe both you and I was put on this planet to make a change in peoples everyday lives! Thanks again for all you do!

Seems like a lot of juggling things all at once, seems like you’re under valuing your own time. The more successful you are. The less time you have in the day. Maybe cut alittle back on UA-cam content. Make it quality and not quantity. Might cut some of that hate to because people just want something to be venomous about. No one expects another human to be a robot. Just understand your time is more valuable now than it was when came up with the idea of doing all these videos at the same times every week

What happened to me? The 'magic' left me at age 16. I just could not do it anymore and uninterested until, 40 years later, I saw Shin Limm performing 52 Shades of Red. Bought it, played around with it, got a video of it. Now interest comes and goes with magic

I' ve been interested on and off for years. Now in early 40s I just really enjoy practicing and learning. Unless I have a need to stop, I doubt I will stop.
