I actually just made this and it turned out great! My only tip is to use a little more of the powder+water+milk, as it didnt yield two cups for me- it gave me more like 3/4 a cup after boiling for that long. But it tastes fantastic and robust; I love mine strong and thick as well so I recommend the longer boiling time. Thank you for posting!! ☮️❤︎
Like my comment for others to see opinions of those who tried it, with respect for the channel. x

Wow! Just made this and by far my favourite Masala Chai recipe. I didn't have Black Cardamom and I also never had dried ginger but substituted for ground ginger and it's just amazing! If I want to double the portion and use 4 cups (32 Oz) water, do I use 2 cups (16 Oz) of milk, 2 tsp spice mix and 4 tsp of tea?

you need to use 1 tsp tea per teacup. If you prefer mild flavours for 1 cup of tea, use 1 tsp tea and boil it for 2-3 mins over medium heat. remove immediately and strain. Hope this will help you :)
