The first Karen, Natasha Walker, wouldn’t stop complaining about her fingers long enough to agree to let her fiancé pick the child up, so department of children services took her. Shows how little she cares about her own BS affecting her child. Poor Isabel.

I'm schizophrenic and ended up with a drug habit cos of it, my way of funding it was shoplifting. I saw chainstores as a victimless crime(,they pay their shareholders 7 figure bonuses and price fix to ruin small businesses) and I can't feel any guilt about my past. When arrested, I'd give up and surrender instantly, cos I'd only get a petty charge and so a minor punishment and I wouldn't get tased/maced/thrown to the ground and hurt. A local cop once told me he enjoyed arresting me, I looked at him and he said"you'll never talk about others, but always admit your guilt, always cooperate and are always polite and friendly and you fully understand this"I said "I'm a thief, you're a cop. Your job is to catch me, my job is to not get caught, but when I am caught, it's my fault not yours" he laughed and said"you.dont know the shit I go through every shift". I'm paraphrasing cos this was a long time ago, but if I complied and cooperated, I'd get a lesser charge and get out quicker, so I was behaving for pure selfish reasons. I don't get these videos, why would you add charge after charge being an asshole, when smiling and being nice will get you out quicker. I have a lot of respect for cops now after seeing shit like this. I can fully admit my cooperation was selfish(it got me out quicker so I could get more drugs etc) and not any add licking or snitching type of behaviour

I'd like to know more about the second one. You can't get through security without a valid boarding pass, and "sneaking" onto a plane is practically impossible. While she certainly didn't handle things well, I guarantee this was a case of the airline overbooking. If she was kicked off because they overbooked, she would be entitled to compensation based on how long she had to wait to board another flight. Had they explained the overbooking situation and the compensation to which she was entitled, it might have ended differently. Instead, she acted a fool and went to jail.

In the case of the woman refusing to leave the Spirit Airlines plane:
If that woman is inconveniencing everyone else, and if the airline actually has a legitimate reason for denying her service, then they should just refund everyone else the cost of the flight for their inconvenience. Spirit already has a reputation for gouging passengers for hidden costs and fees, and this would go a LONG way towards good customer relations.

It was wrong of her to sneak onto the plane, but seeing as she got through TSA, and claimed to have a valid ticket but apparently was refused boarding, without knowing the full story, it’s most likely that they overbooked or something, and didn’t explain the compensation for that properly (with it being Spirit, I wouldn’t be surprised if gate agents are trained to not share as much as possible of what they’re legally required to offer, unless someone points out their rights. Airlines already do it to some extent, but especially from a budget carrier, I’d expect no better), so of course she’s mad about it. Doesn’t excuse the behaviour, but if reality is something like that scenario, that’s on Spirit’s customer service. I don’t think it’s as despicable as these people who are driving around drunk, putting people’s lives at risk, and being violent when confronted about it

As someone that's an adult, and had parents do literally everything for me my entire life (even down to filling out paperwork), I can tell you how much that messes up your ability to be a functional adult. I know the video said she's drunk, but that "I can't" when asked to choose where the kid's going, reminds me of how I get sometimes, where it feels like I'm still waiting for someone to decide for me. I'm kinda surprised that they still do this sobriety field testing on drivers in the US. In Germany, if they have reason to think that you are drunk driving you either consent to doing a blow test right away, or you will be detained and taken to the next station and put in a cell until a doctor arrives and takes a blood sample, which usually happens within 20 minutes, so no time for sobering up. Easy as that. No ifs or buts. A hardcore alcoholic can breakdance including a headspin for you without you noticing even if their blood alcohol level would kill a grown elephant, but you still don't want them on the road driving a car.

It really sucks! Over here in America, the older generations were taught very strictly and religiously. Anything that went against their parent’s rules was not allowed. Period. They weren’t taught to be kind either, they were taught that they’d be beat when they were mean.
They went through their adult life following these rules.
Now that the world has changed to be less rule-driven, we’re left with a generation of people who put rules on everything but refuse to respect others. Teenagers smoking weed or having facial piercings is normal nowadays, but back then? Scarce and weird.
Edit: I also wanted to add on that the younger Karen’s usually follow the same values as older Karen’s, although many are terminally online people who’ve been told by TikTok lawyers that dialogue will get you out of arrest. (Hint: It it absolutely doesn’t.)
