Renaissance music about a joyous fair in a peaceful medieval town with all kinds of goods and wares being sold at the marketplace and various shops and stalls. Merriment abounds with dancing, singing, minstrel playing, knights jousting, and archery tournaments. This music that I composed is called Medieval Faire.

To anyone who has ever wanted to visit a Medieval/Renaissance Faire before. Here is my recommendation unto you.
When you go, you can't leave without eating at least ONE giant turkey leg. They are just SOOOO tasty

Medieval/Renaissance Faires are pretty big in many areas of the U.S. and beyond
Since 1977 the New York Renaissance Fair in Tuxedo New York has been aroumd also.the one in Pa is awesome too.8 weekends July and August are open the one in Newyork.😀😀😀😀

This brings back so much. Back in 2016 my high school put on a production of Romeo And Juliet, my sister was in the ensemble, this song played during the party scene where R&J meet. That was my favorite play my school ever did, and this song is really pretty.

Heh, two years ago I used you and Derek's music to get me inspired as I started writing my first novel. ("Roman Republic" was really inspiring.) Now, I've got some family helping me edit the product, I'm going to at least show my friends my manuscript this summer. Now I've started work on the second book, and look who's back. You and Derek make really good music that gets me in the mood when I'm trying to get my feet on the ground and really get into my story. Thank you.

This reminds me of the ending scene of a period movie where the townspeople are all going about their normal every day lives in happiness, after good has prevailed over evil. I picture a movie where this song comes on right after an intense fight scene between the main protagonist and antagonist.

Nice music Derek i really love it I need to tell u some bad news there was once a medieval music that I didn't know what it was called but at the end it said post modern Middle Ages music i had it in my playlist medieval music then about months later it some how disappeared I kept on searching but I COUDNT find it I felt very upset about that D: so can u find the video or make the same video if u seen it before have a nice day :)

You are a true artist, my friend. I love Medieval/Renaissance music more than any other genre.
What I meant was, do you use actual medieval instruments. Like a mandolin, Lute, pan flute etc. or do you have a keyboard that has those sounds to it
Ok, I see. Yes, I do use a keyboard, though I've bought an amazing virtual instrument kit called Medieval Legends from Eduardo Tarilonte. The instruments sound pretty realistic I think. :)

That is so cool; one Medieval/Renaissance themed band I love, Blackmore's Night uses a combo of medieval instruments with a few modern ones as well.
They are awesome and you have just joined alongside them, in my ranks of great medieval music minstrels

It's most likely not totally authentic as renaissance music probably didn't sound as orchestral.
