Why in every single video talking about this no one talk about Wirtz ALSO being offside in the moment of the shot ?? He was in the trajectory of the ball and was like 5 meters offide, the probably would even have touched him because you can see in the replay that he even moves his body to trying and not touch the ball right before the ball hits Cucurrela's hand. There's so many reasons why this was not a penalty.
That's incredibly stupid, if you're running then your hand is oit from your body it's a handball, but you can clear it off the line with your arm down and a yard out from your body and not be penalised? If that is the case I can only hope players exploit the f-k out of it next season

Apparently referees were given a picture with that exact example as not handball. So he didn't miss it. And VAR wouldn't fix it because the referee technically got it right
it was confirmed by german and spanish broadcasters, that Füllkrug wasnt offside. The perspective we see on tv can be very misleading

Not true, can be offside if interfering with play. Netherlands had a goal disallowed for offside where the player didn't touch the ball
