Without commenting on any particular company, generally regulated and licenced brokerages are very safe. Investments are held separately from brokerage assets so if the brokerage goes down they should be protected. That said, if hypothetically some brokerage is run by unethical individuals / scammers, there would still be risk, of course, so it is important to trust brokerages with a good reputation and track record that you trust.
I hear you but is this all too good to be true? There are many online brokers (whether ETFs or crypto) and then people find out that the owners are corrupt meth heads (ex FTX).
Crypto and ETFs / stocks shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence. In terms of investor protection, regulated brokerages have a fantastic track record (much better than banks, actually). That's because these companies are closely regulated, investor assets are held separately, and even if the broker runs into trouble investments are generally safe. By comparison, crypto is anarchy, and everyone has to watch out for themselves.
It seems a little bit to me that you "created the problem" and are now "giving the solution" ? Why are you doing yt insta & other educational stuff if you are getting enough while investing? It's a bit weird don't you think
Hi Sandra! Good question! Sometimes people have the impression that investing is a "money making machine" so that if you know how to invest, you don't need to work. That is not true at all. Investing only multiplies money that you make and save from your job or business. My job is teaching investors - that's how I make money, and then I invest this money to grow it over time! I hope this helps :) It's true that sometimes people online promise you that "investing will make you rich", but that's really not true - only working hard and making a lot of money + then investing it can make you rich!
@@Neatkarigaisinvestors hi Tom, OK I understand that. But is there a point where you can say I don't need to work this job anymore cause I have enough money working for myself? It seems to me it's never actually enough
I also invest with Ibkr every month, but what did you mean to adjust once a year?
Thanks 🙂
Thank you!
Is it save to use online ne brokers like trading 212? Could such companies declare bankruptcy maybe or just steel your money?
