It's the nature of the beast, but you are getting the best. I just bought a t4 for sharpening knives, additionally I purchased 3 knife jigs and the diamond tipped truing stone. $930 Canadian. Eventually I'll pick up the 4000 Japanese water stone. It never even crossed my mind to buy the cheaper versions on amazon. Life's too short for that.

I noticed that a JIG is not included. So, now I should order a jig, which is another $40-50. Sounds a bit discouraging.
