You just have elite skill in this game. Even someone the same size as you couldn’t land many bites. You never die from a solo fight, it’s always those huge packs that get you. Crazy how you can raise a Dino in this game for 5+ hours & it’s gone in seconds but I think that’s what makes every fight risky because there’s consequences. Love the video!
Cool vid! You might want to know, mosa thrash was changed a while back, now it doesn't do dmg anymore, it only reduces the breath bar for non aquatics.

The melancholic tone of this one is so so gripping! The musical shift when the archelons arrived really deepens the emotion of this story. I have said and continue to say that you, OwL, are the BEST storyteller on YT! It would be so cool if you could read audiobooks/audio dramas! It wouldn't matter the book: you would make it great!

It's a Friday night, and my favorite guy drops a mosasaurus video (I had no idea that was a playable species, but it's one of my favorite marine reptiles). Always look forward to your uploads!
Beasts of Bermuda right now is the only dinosaur game that has a great roster of aquatic and semi-aquatic dinos. Mosasaur, Elasmo, Krono, Aquatic Paleo/snake. Only issue with it rn is the archeons (the turtles) are defensive playables but they are CRAZY strong. I've fought things on land as a turtle and rexes don't stand a chance and are better off running. 😭

I love the isle at the moment. Thought about trying this but seeing sea creatures yeet themselves 60ft in the air is just like wtf haha
Having played all three dino games this is how they are:
The Isle: Most realistic, best graphics if you have a high end PC, solo play is viable on some dinos, dumpster fire lead dev, horrendous optimization problems, 1h waits for official servers is inexcusable, extremely minimal aquatic ecosystem.
BoB: Most dynamic combat, most skill based, best weather system, unlimited growth/leaderboards is really fun and gives you something to do besides just hit adult and survive, by far the best aquatic ecosystem, has tech issues that can cause you to lose your dino without revive, least realistic, no crocodiles, balance issues.
PoT: Most polished game, widest dino selection, widest platform availability, quest system keeps your juveniles more active than the other two games, minimal death penalty on most servers, combat is skill based but the skill ceiling is fairly low, severe mixpacking issues, severe hotspotting issues (it's really a challenge to find fights outside of the area around IC), severe megapack issues, there's nothing to do once you grow to an adult except find fights.

Love the videos, if you’ve never tried it i recommend you play creatures of sonaria on roblox. Even though it’s a roblox game it’s super fun surviving and growing different creatures which there are over 400 of.

What I like about BoB is that it's incredibly goofy and nerve-wracking all at the same time. I know the game goes for the arcade style instead of realism but wow can the fights and the natural disasters put you on edge. Hope they can add meteor showers too. Would love to see the dodgen and weavin people would have to do lol 😆
