Neighborhood biologist here with a special love for animals most people don’t care much for. Watching someone play close to how crocodilians operate was very entertaining. A+ work here.

@@kraanz Deathrolling will happen both on land and in the water. It works better in water but they’re reptile brained, so the flow chart that governs their behavior is really short and really limited.

It was the real dog knowing a fake bark that made me realize that he knew the essence what he was doing. Along with the change in behavior over the entire video along with him taking offense to them being in his side of the river.

Really like your playstyle. Lately i've been seeing soo many crocs who play by walking half a mile on land to steal someones elses hard earned prey. So it's nice to see a croc in water again.
Watch defeatpete for a really good deino player. Rarely leaves the water and has the perfect voice for an 8 ton alligator.
Crocs move too other lakes,ponds and rivers and do this in real life lol.

This was a awesome video, you can really see your skills, winning 1v3s and 1v2 and nearly winning agaisnt 2 full crocs as well as setting up multiple traps while having camouflage, truly the terror of the river, skilled as ever my man

Honestly I'd really like it if they found a way to break mix packing (for carnivores that is). I don't know how you'd really do it, but just introducing diets helped the integrity of the game a lot so maybe something along those lines. Like add some kind of "spooked" mechanic where herbivores will start to act erratically (randomly attack, randomly run in the opposite direction, randomly do threaten calls idk) if they're around the same carnivore for so long?

Just a stress based debuff like poor diet would go a huge way
Increase Hunger and thirst by 25% and decrease bite damage by 15% if you spend more that 3 minutes within the radius of "mix pack".
You are one of the reasons i started playing the isle, im having a bad day and watching your stuff is so relaxing and fun, pretty much an escape from reality but in a nice way

Owl time makes a video game seem like a movie. We are always cheering for the protagonist to win and thrive.but it's a survival game even the best of survivors will die. And we are disappointed and sad. Just like if a character we liked die. Every video owl time dose is like and individual story. Love the content, keep it up!

Bro I was the carno. I haven't played the game in a while but got back in the game because of you! This is an honor tbh I was geeking out about it. I went back for water I could have waited longer on.
While the green colours are great for hiding, on your croc it looked like moss, growing on an ancient reptile. A predator who would not be easily defeated by usual means because it had learned over its long life the art of battle.
Your videos got me back into playing the isle and inspired me to try and get good at combat in legacy since I always used to run away when I was being attacked

Coloring yourself in a manner that would let you sit in the shallow water, fit with plantation and shadows, in a manner that you'd be nearly unseeable is beyond terrifying.

cannibal crocs are fine, it is in the diet., but mixpacking crocs are a different matter, very scummy

If you would’ve just crossed over the path from the swamp water, you didn’t have to walk that far to get to that back waterfall. You can stay in the water the whole time except for crossing that back south path to the big pond and then you just swim straight to you can’t anymore then veering left boom you’ll be right in that back area essentially. Quality content pretty sure those are the same crocs you killed earlier as well. They came back for vengeance and I’m pretty sure they knew it. Was you when you let them live as babies at center
Just a tidbit of advice, if you hold alt, you can move your camera without changing the direction you move in! This is great for stalking prey while swimming along the river.

Feels like Isle players got too soft with the whole "reeEe cannibal bad uwu" thing. Pretty sure back when I was playing a LOT of legacy, it was always expected and part of the game. As a rex or example, one would always have to be wary of other rexes and it seemed universally known and accepted.
Animals fight and kill their own species members all the time for many reasons. Especially in this game which is meant to be immersive and feel realistic, I will never judge anyone for attacking their own species.

honestly in legacy food was so scarce the game was almost bad but in evirma there are new sourcess and just more ai. i feel like most cannibalism in the isle is either fear or being a bitch
when i just spawned in i usually go center, and hope i can find some bones inland. then i usually hide in a bush, until i am grown a bit and am fast enough to run away from big crocs. loved your video. I always like to see how others grow their croc and see their story.(ps when u have 3 different nutrients u grow much faster, cheers!)

I mean whos gonna blame ya for Cannibalizing in a game with so little playables? What else is there to hunt? With the current cast you either 1 shot them or get wrecked by a stego there isnt much else.
