That was so cool of you to take the time to explain to that little boy about what you are doing and why. Maybe this will plant a seed in his fertile young mind and he will take an interest in minks (or nature) instead of a computer screen.
I hope he'll have the good sense to start out in the kiddie-pools of animal work/training, and start with a dog or budgie or something. Mink are...a bit much, especially for a greenhorn.
Introducing the kids to nature and the laws that govern it from a young age is super important and you can tell Joseph is a good father by the way he talks to a young kid that's not even his own.
too wholesome you explaining to that boy what you do! and good on the mom for being cool and not going full karen, im glad to see some people understand the circle of life
Glad to see that you're teaching your daughters the real truth about wildlife. And I learned that their meat and everything like that comes from an animal it just doesn't magically appear in the store Good work
Sherlock just proved he is an exceptional mink, and you Joe have proved yourself an exceptional mink man, dare I say one of the best in the world. Right on man!
Looked like Sherlock was riding that fish😂😂 Love your content mate. I find myself watching videos for hours sometimes in amazement, with how well you can communicate with the dogs and the mink, and how the dogs work as a team and are always target focused. The minks are just incredible how they shoot down a hole or in between pallets and go to town on rats and whatever else it may be. You’re very talented mate, well done.!!
Just subscribed to your exclusive channel. And will buy your book after sending you this comment. While entertaining, and providing an environmental service. Your channel shows a humane way to combat invasive animals. Now if you can teach these things to hunt pythons and iguanas in the Florida Everglades that would be amazing. The devastating effects upon the indigenous species are about 95 percent vanished. Thanks again!
I'm aware that Sherlock isn't Joseph's favorite mink (and why), but he is mine. He's a very entertaining mink to watch, and I'm so glad he made a comeback.
"Challenge Accepted" I can't wait to buy one! Best line ever. It was hilarious when your brother did a spoof video using your line. Please repost that one, I can't find it to watch it again😂
Another way you could tell that it was the same muskrat was the getaway battle it put on at the beginning. Sherlock did an amazing job with maneuvering his body and launching at the muskrat during the beginning stages of this hunt.
for future reference when shooting water put a piece of polarized film over your lens or whatever you are using to film itll cut all the glare and not cost you 5k for a special lens, you can buy sheets of polarized plastic cut to size and shape and just pop it in
Always enjoy some mink on muskrat action; Sherlock was really locked on! I found someone that could benefit from some guidance on restrictions. (Knot Normal Adventures) Nice guy that trains & hunts for hogs w/dogs. I don't know them, just a fan of both channels. Thanks
On top of animal control you provide entertainment for park visitors. Those who hired you to do this made a great decision. I would be definitely watching if I happened to see something like this happening.
Ok, not about this video, just my thoughts. Imagine Bindi and Shernie together. Both so incredibly intelligent, with this incredible intuition. Rip Shernie. Bindi and Boss hunting raccoons is quite an experience. Bindi is so incredibly smart and tracks down the raccoons and Boss has an incredible killer instinct. Boss is so strong and merciless and with the help of Bindi, no matter how big the raccoon may be, it's no problem for the two of them.
I would love to see you travel to Florida and deal with some iguana there, they do have a huge iguana problem. Imagine training mink to hunt Iguana in florida- that'd help them a ton. Literal infrastructure crumbles under Iguana claws, they can dig through like anything.
My niece does turtle research in the pinery Park buy Grand bend Ontario and they wanted her to go up to Orangeville Ontario she got bit in her hip waiters buy an otter and she got blood poisoning of course she was not off work very long she wanted to get back but that's just a risk you take when you do this line of work Joseph keep up the good work😊😊
Seeing washushu sorry if I spelled his name incorrectly in the title edits bring back some good memories mr mink man had to work hard with that one I wonder if he has any mink from his lineage .?
Need to get down to Florida and set the mink free - and start taking down the iguana digging holes in levees, Argentinian taegu lizardss, monitor lizards, ...
No we don't have access to them. My understanding is, they can't handle biting prey in the way mink can. I have friends who have tried over in Europe, and they say polecats are not as good at handling aggressive prey as mink are.

He's back and i love your updated intro! ✌️
Sherlock just proved he is an exceptional mink, and you Joe have proved yourself an exceptional mink man, dare I say one of the best in the world. Right on man!
That video of Sherlock riding the fish is THE best. Such an amazing mink.
One could see that Sherlock was really eager on getting that bastard muskrat! Awesome!
It's currently 12:35 on Friday morning here in England, I'm not saying that I have been waiting all day for Jo's video to drop, but.... 😀
When you said "the American mink" I had a flashback of Marty Stouffer "until next time, enjoy our wild America!"
I LOVED that show when I was a kid.
I am in Dorset England and been waiting also. Love the way you teach Joseph. Passing on the knowledge is so important. Great video.
Me as well friend
Next door in Hampshire, same! 😂
Love your love of nature, thank you for sharing
Only a few minutes in so far but this video is very informative and entertaining.
Looked like Sherlock was riding that fish😂😂

I'm happy that Sherlock is back in the saddle 😊
I'm aware that Sherlock isn't Joseph's favorite mink (and why), but he is mine. He's a very entertaining mink to watch, and I'm so glad he made a comeback.
That was so cute to explain to the little boy what you were doing. 🥰
That muskrat didn't get lucky enough to position it's self against the bank this time.
Sherlock is a beast. ❤ And it was so sweet watching you tell that little boy about mink and muskrats.
"Challenge Accepted" I can't wait to buy one! Best line ever. It was hilarious when your brother did a spoof video using your line. Please repost that one, I can't find it to watch it again😂
Sherlock trusts you and you him. Can tell everytime you grab the muskrat by the tail mid fight 😂
*Muskrats:* Oh, thank God; that monster is gone!!
*Sherlock:* You wish~😈
Joseph Carter I love ❤️ your videos! You explain everything very well. God bless you, your friends, and your family. I pray 🙏 for you Joseph Carter 🙏
Don't know if that was the bruce lee muskrat but dam Sherlock exploded at it.😮
Highly likely it was.
That mink was riding the fish like Seabiscuit!!!!
Sherlock has a seeing eye human to help him hunt. LOL
that was nice of you to explain to the little boy about mink
Another mink man video I love it. Thank you for taking the time to show us your world
This video is so great. You explain everything in a very simple but educational way.
I love these videos with just the mink and the girls cleaning up the parks and drains.
That was a personal hunt for Sherlock, way to go.
That was epic.
GOOD PROTECT SHERLOCK!
FROM ROMANIA!🙌🙌❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Yes Sherlock! You get yourself that muskrat that thought he was better than you. You sure showed him who was boss!
Very cool Joe and Sherlock!
Welcome back into the way of the warrior Sherlock! Big Joe must have been reading chapters from Sun Tzu's Art of War at bedtime each night!
I knew you've done minkenry but I didn't know you did so much cool and also im happy sherlock can overcome his fears
Good job Sherlock! Didn’t know they would go after squirrels, I could use their services here in Florida!
LOL 😆 Mama duck doesn't sound too happy 😅😅😅
Jo I love your stuff. One of the best on UA-cam, all the best from Scotland.
It's nice of a park to hire you for things like this, not wanting to use damaging things. Benefits everyone except the muskrat xD
The full time you can hear the duck. Sounds like he's saying, "Nope! Nope!" 😂
You have the best intro bro.
Revenge is a dish best served cold- Sherlock probably
I know Sherlock! I know he was having problems! I had to click to see the update!
Another great video buddy! The people in that park got some great entertainment!
Have great weekend...I enjoy wacthing ur vlogs they are so interesting to watch...💯🇦🇺
My father would have loved this, he used to hunt and trap muskrats for fur
Another way you could tell that it was the same muskrat was the getaway battle it put on at the beginning. Sherlock did an amazing job with maneuvering his body and launching at the muskrat during the beginning stages of this hunt.
Very intense little creature. Very cool!
Duck is saying everybody out of the water
Thank you
Welcome back Sherlock !
Yayyy Mr Sherlock!! My guy said... I'm Baaaack !! Remember Me?!?! Lets get it !!!
5:58 that slowed down quack!!!
Bizarre how he shows love for the mink, at the same time that he chases and mutilates the rats.
I love the thumbnail! You look so handsome baby!! 😍
Also, Sherlock is such a good mink!
My Idol🎉❤ another amazing content!!!
That was so cool! Little kid's curious XD

Love the channel! Keep minking!!!
I need a mink, to hunt squirrels in my yard.

The duck xD
👌👌👌👍👍👍
Like they always say Joseph it's not the size of the dog in the fight it's the fight in the dog😊😊
Love this❤

Muskrat is VERY tasty! 😋
I enjoy it! Tastes a lot like beef

Can you come to Salt Lake City to get rid of a rat infestation?
My niece does turtle research in the pinery Park buy Grand bend Ontario and they wanted her to go up to Orangeville Ontario she got bit in her hip waiters buy an otter and she got blood poisoning of course she was not off work very long she wanted to get back but that's just a risk you take when you do this line of work Joseph keep up the good work😊😊
I suggest try record the action in at least 60p or even 120p frame rate to smoothen the action when its put into slow motion.
Yo muskrat - i didnt hear no bell 🥊
sherlockkk!!❤
I’ve been summoned…
Ditto
You mean “subpoenaed” 😂
Seeing washushu sorry if I spelled his name incorrectly in the title edits bring back some good memories mr mink man had to work hard with that one I wonder if he has any mink from his lineage .?

could you train a cat to hunt for rats? that is one challenge i would like to see
Just let mink and dogs keep killing the rats old mate 👍
❤❤🎉🎉🎉😮😮😊😊😊 emiliano 👍✌️✌️😢😅
Have you ever tried a eu polecat ? If not what would be the difference in using one versus a mink ?
No we don't have access to them. My understanding is, they can't handle biting prey in the way mink can. I have friends who have tried over in Europe, and they say polecats are not as good at handling aggressive prey as mink are.
👍👍👍
Do the mink not work as a team like the dogs? If you find a super aggressive muskrat; take a team of mink for the job?
It's very difficult working 2 at the same time because they are very aggressive towards each other.
Do you ever release 2 minks at the same time during hunts?
i love this channel and i like you mink’s and hope you go to Florida joseph😊😊
👏
Yep no such thing is bit once twice shy will the little fella
