Hello everyone. First I would like to THANK Harry for opening up his home and inviting people to run their trains on the Old Train Farm. I have been attending the Run for Fun event since 2016. It has always been fun every year. I like seeing all the different locomotives the guests bring to run. Also make sure to visit Henning's Trains, it's not far from the Old Train Farm. It's a great event and donations go to a good cause. I have past Run for Fun videos on my channel under the playlists heading if you would like to see what the event is about.
Let me second Dakman's suggestion of visiting Henning's Trains! It's well worth the effort to get there. I usually manage a visit the Friday after Thanksgiving since I have family in the area. Wish I could get there more often, the place is magic! 🤩 Besides, you'll find things you never KNEW you needed! 😲
My hearty "Best Wishes!" for your "Run For Fun" Harry! Man, I wish I lived closer than 200 miles away. All you toy train fans who DO live in the area get yourselves over there! If you don't it looks like your going to miss a great party!
@@harryhenninglll117 Dang! What's WRONG with me? I just remembered September 10th is the Virginia Train Collectors Association annual picnic. As president of the club it IS kind of expected that I'll be there. I swear I'm getting a head like a sieve! Do yourselve a favor gents, don't get old!
The trains are at the old train farm but you are encouraged to visit the store since it is not that far away from the old train farm. The store is a great place to visit while you are in the area
@@Dakman Swing by the old Philadelphia & Reading train station in the center of town of Lansdale if you can. Dating from 1902 it's been recently placed on the National Register of Historic Places. An active SEPTA commuter station now it's beautifully maintained and worth a look. They don't build 'em like that anymore!
Thanks for the info Harry. I plan on being there both days to run some trains.

200 miles is nothing. We have guys coming from CA and FL. Just have to make the time.
It's well worth it.
@@harryhenninglll117 California and Florida? Holy smoke, just when I think I've got it bad I find out there's guys who've got it worse! Formidable!

We have trains everywhere in the house out in the yard out in the barn and out in the driveway.
More than most see at one house.
Will my dad's post war lionel operate on those rails?
No that is conventional unless it has been upgraded to run on command control
