Galco leather products are among the best on the market. Their horsehide front pocket holster for S&W J frame is the finest pocket holster made.Their SB1 dress holster belts are better looking than all others and double as a gun belt without screaming "gun belt."
Even with DA holsters, I would recommend the trigger guard be completely covered. These holster not only DON’T cover the trigger guard, the damn trigger is sticking out like “go ahead! I’m just waiting for you to snag me on something!”
1791 didn't make a holster for the jericho in 45acp so I went with craft holster. Very impressed, have had it a couple years and lots of use and holds up great
I just got my first 1791 and you are right. It is quality and looks great, but I almost sent it back because I could barely get my pistol half way into it. But after watching a few vids and reading their break in procedure I was able to get my gun in and get the retention strap to snap. In the end, a very nice, great looking holster for a production unit.
Love the Kore belts...have 5 of them. Check out Skull Crush holsters..leather lined kydex..lots of color options - carbon fiber. Got 7 of those bad boys. They are all custom made and the fit is perfect.
For anyone who doesn’t have a lobo enhanced pancake holster for their carry, do yourself a favor and order one right now. 4 months later you’ll understand
I'm glad to hear you recommend Azula; their products are not bad but also not great. They are priced right. The one I bought for my 686 flopped on me after several months, but I did get it soaking wet in a rain storm once, to be fair.
I agree with you to an extent. I use a Galco Fletch for my Ruger P90 and it's awesome. Fits like a glove and keeps it's shape. Other than that, all of my holsters are made for each gun. I literally just got a holster from Tucker Gun Leather for my Smith and Wesson 4006 and I use Black Rhino Concealment for my XD 40. Vedder holsters are awesome as well.
I just purchased a Rossi RP- 63 I'm a huge fan of revolvers now with your suggestion I have the perfect belt and holsters that I'm going to need with that gun thank you so much🤘💯🖤
Very much like the looks of your grey tactical belt. I have a black leather kore belt thats got to be 4 or 5 years old and its beat up but still works fantastic.
Kore belts are the best because of near infinite adjustment. Pro Teq holsters for me. That guy is a gun engineer that now makes holsters and puts his engineering brain to the task.
I dont think ive ever heard you talk about alien gear holsters. I have the shape shift and love it. You basically use the same holster and the shell is quick release, so you can change what you carry without buying an entire holster.
I used to have a brown leather Kore belt and I liked it but after a year and a half the stitching came apart and only has a one-year warranty so I bought a 1791 leather belt and it's been working great. It's 100% made in America with a lifetime warranty and cost the same as the Kore belt which is made in China.
I carry my model 329PD in a Andrews Leather Monarch Shoulder Holster and need no belt to wear it. I wear a leather dress belt made by Diamond D Leather Company in Alaska but not to carry a belt holster. But it works when I want to.
I have had A. E. Nelson Leather Co. holsters from back in the 70's and 80's and they build nice stuff. They are a family still in business under the name. Scio, Oregon. If they don't have it they will make it. They built me a nice OWB for a Sig P245, mag pouches and shoulder rigs are available.
I prefer good ol Galco brown leather holster. Last a life time, and for holster I live vedder holster and G Code incog holster, love the adjust clips to control the depth for IWB. I will try the core tho thanks yankee!
What about inside the waistband holstersfor when you, don't want it seen? I think these are great for outside the waistband but I don't usually carry that way.
@@CincinnatiDan if you have a chance drive to their store. They have a huge selection in stock or they will make you one to meet your needs. I only carry stoner holsters.
When the Lobo holster first appeared in your video, the trigger was no covered because you had not shoved the revolver all the way down into it. I know it isn't the holster's fault because when you drew the revolver and put it back into the holster, the trigger was covered. You don't usually make that kind of mistake, at least not on camera.
How do you brake in your leather gun holsters yank ? I got a 1791 and a video they put out say to put the guns in plastic bags and then shove the gun in the holster and leave it for a day or more if needed. Do you do the same or do you do something different to brake in the leather holsters you get
I actually made an order yesterday for a Lobo holster yesterday for an SP101. Not a quick delivery in the slightest; and it’s expected. Probably late March or early April. But between you and Ol1911, I’m interested enough to give them a fair shake.
Believe me when I say you won’t be disappointed. Especially for a heavier gun. I have one for my gp100 and for my M9. In about 4 months you’ll understand why.
My local craftsmen at Milt Sparks Holsters in Garden City, Idaho are top drawer. When I get custom grips or stocks I order from Herrets in Twin Falls, Idaho. Belts I buy from the holster makers themselves. I like to keep things local. Those people are my friends and they work hard to satisfy my penchant for quality hand crafted gunleather. When I guy big corporation items I fund the CEO's third home or his second yacht. My neighbors buy braces for their kids, and buy a health insurance policy or pay a deductible on a medical bill. I love the looks of those though. I just want to plug our local economy which is supercritical during these socialist dark winters.
So, holster on your right, and flashlight in your left pocket. My question is what is the silver thing that looks like it is between the left front and left rear pocket? A knife perhaps?
Don't know what Yankee has against Galco. I have several Galco holsters. No, they aren't mitch Rosen of Milt Sparks quality, but they are fine. The Miami Special is a great shoulder rig.
I got an Azula last year for my taurus 605 and I like it for the price, but I wish I would have gotten it OWB because it does not hold its shape IWB at all, basically impossible to safely re-holster with one hand.
Well can't have it be to thick because when it is inside the friction kinda makes it a little uncomfortable but it is what it is I guess. Nothing to it but to do it 💪🏽
Hello, I've been searching for a video you made several yrs ago about getting pulled over on an interstate exit ramp in ?Alabama. You showed a beautiful shiney revolver (yes, I'm female) in this video, about how intimidating it was to the guys who were threatening you. Can you post a link to this video? Thanks, from a girl who loves her keltec p32! (I know you hate keltec & small calibers)💓
You do realize I removed the gun from the holster and sat it back in there multiple times and did not bother to fully seat them, correct? Plus, as I have said, you don’t want the coverage coming to the full rear of the trigger.
@@TheYankeeMarshal Yeah, I rewatched and at 5:22 it does insert fully. Didn't notice that before. Never heard that you don't want the whole trigger guard to be covered though. (like this one actually does). Does that make it bad then?
They cover the trigger just fine if they are fully in the holster. Also, you only want it coming to the back of the actual physical holster not to the back of the trigger guard.
Try a Hanks leather belt for concealed carry. You won’t regret it and they look classy, not all goofball tactical like these ratchet belts. Unless you’re into that look, then by all means.
I bought a 1791 holster after watching one of your videos a couple years ago. Great recommendation. It's been a good holster for my 1911's.

Azula is the best holster I have ever had. love them.
A sturdy leather gun belt and a safariland als holster is the best edc setup I've found for me

TT Gunleather.

What's wrong with Galco? I was considering the combat master model for owb Beretta 92.
Thanks
Have you ever had a urban carry bet ?
No galco? They cost more but I've had a few and thought they were great.
They collapse too much and cause risk of firing the gun upon holstering.
I've never had one collapse. I think they are one of the better "production" holsters available.

My 1791 model 69 combat holster looks great BUT..they left the inside way too rough and its scraping apart so i bought the "Craft holster instead"

KORE excellent choice.
On the two of them it look like the trigger could still be pulled while the gun is in the holster. (esp the last one for the revolver).

It looks like you have the NoAssAtAll disease today
I love my Bigfoot belt
Nobody and I mean NOBODY needs a “you’re welcome” from you
Neither one of the holsters for her Ruger really covered the trigger well at all. I would be concerned.
They cover the trigger just fine if they are fully in the holster. Also, you only want it coming to the back of the actual physical holster not to the back of the trigger guard.
ALOT of Versacarry holsters will NOT fit tight, and your gun just slips right out w/ no resistance. Alot of those need a strap to hold the firearm in.
Love my KORE belt, hard to get through the belt loops but worth the trouble
@TheYankeeMarshal this is my opportunity to whine at you. Call the septic tank people, it's early on your Coast you have time now!!

When was it ok to carry with the trigger exposed? That's definitely worst than carrying appendix. This guy's living in his own fantasy world.

No disrespect but you shouldn’t carry a firearm in a holster that doesn’t cover trigger guard or trigger properly.
