Two very impressive animals. That’s some absolutely incredible footage. A real study in bull moose behavior during the rut. Thanks for explaining the submissive behavior that went on. I never knew that. I would have assumed there would be no backing down between two big guys like that with a pretty good battle. I loved the short stare down at the very end.
You have said exactly what I was thinking and the question I had about the submissive behavior. I expected a big battle. All of the footage was so enjoyable, I was smiling as I watched the video.
Has to be one of your best videos yet!! Very impressive animals. Would have been interesting to see what happened if say the photographer had grunted a few times.
@@RaisedinAlaska Seriously that was great footage! Not sure how close you were to them but that takes a lot of courage to hang in there. Many years ago my father-in-law and I found ourselves between two bulls challenging each other at dusk in northern Alberta. It was quite an experience as they both crashed through the bush towards us. It happened very quickly and at the last minute a cow called a few hundred yards away. Their attention and direction was suddenly diverted…thankfully. Thank you for taking everyone along on your adventures.

Thank you very much for the kind words. To be honest, I’d hope for a little antler rattling.🫣

Thank you, I probably don’t have to say that it was a good outing.😊
Great footage! Congrats on capturing that event.
Thank you very much.
WOW! Thank you for sharing your adventures!
Thank you, it is my pleasure.
Awesome!!!! More!!!!
Thank you. I have a couple more encounters to share: they are still in the editing process.
I make sure to watch. Monsters
The first bull was a solid bull, but the second one was amazing.

@glennheath6150 That sounds like a wild experience, it’s amazing how quickly they can cover ground. Thank you for the kind words and for watching.
What a monster there eh!!!
He is a real specimen! When I got into the first bull I thought, “wow what a dandy” and then the second guy came along.🤯
Wow so he forgave the bull right away, I thought for sure he was gonna go slap him around a little
I really expected a battle. And to be honest, I was a little bit disappointed. That said, it was still a great experience.
