Question: How does machine know or how does the machine sort potatoes from bigger rocks that are in the ground? And how do they make sure that potatoes don't get damaged when they are transferred from the harvester to another trailer? Thank you for answering my question in the other video i appreciate it very much.
There are no rocks in the ground. In the spring it has been prepared so that a very fine soil structure remains. A cushion is used in the trailer so when the potatoes are unloaded they don't damage.
Weve got two single row AVR's and a Twin on a mates farm. We usually have 3-4 people on the back at a minimum due to all the rocks and dirt. 12 hours of digging spuds a day is pain
The tractor used in the video has 143 hp so it probably couldn't pull/power a four row harvester. If the tractor could then it would have to store a lot more potatoes during each run, which may not be possible given the lengths of the strips without emptying at each end.
Mooi setje, wat een mooi materiaal.
Bedankt Jilles, zeker mooi om te zien.
Mooie video en machines Niels!
Bedankt Jan!
Prachtige combinatie. Dit zie je niet veel voorkomen, of toch niet waar ik woon. Hopelijk komen er nog video's van deze trial. Zeer interessant.
Zeker en vast in de toekomst! Bedankt.
@@Agrifotodotnl Ik kijk er naar uit. Subscribed. Doe zo verder zou ik zeggen.

Excellent machinery & video!
Thanks!

Bijzonder hoor 👌
Mooie video!
Bedankt!
What’s the idea behind growing in strips of different crops ?
Less mono-cropping so less pests and diseases.
That... Is truly awesome
Great video 👍
Mooie video 👍 ben wel benieuwd naar de kostprijs van deze teelt…
Bedankt. Het gaat hier om een proef waar subsidie voor is dus de kostprijs is denk ik voor nu van secundair belang.
Duidelijk 👍
What is the reason/benefit to plat it in so small (I guess 3m) strips?
The idea is that this is better for biodiversity (less pests/diseases). There are also wider strips of 24m in trial.
@@Agrifotodotnl Thanks for answer, what are crops in strips?
@@peterkolcun8912 beds/strips whatever you want to call them.
@@Agrifotodotnl hi, I mean what is planted in the strips? Potatoes obviously 😃, i think I seen carrots. What else?
@@peterkolcun8912 it can be read in the description
Very awesome video! Great content! 💪
Glad you liked it!
interesting! thumb up & greetings
fascinating
why would you track a tractor like this. It costs so much money and has many dissadvantages aswell
Minder (diepe) wielsporen omdat je bij rijpaden altijd door hetzelfde spoortje rijdt.
For a monstrosity this size, needs to be 4 or 6 rows lifting.
