Phew! I'm so glad most vehicles have moved to sealed bearing hubs. I thought repacking drum brake bearings was bad enough; this is a whole other level of Dante's Inferno. Cheers to your gumption and tenacity! BTW - I'm not sure of when you initially recorded this video but I suspect your still cleaning grease from your tools and workshop surfaces! LOL - that synthetic grease is gnarly!
The newer sealed bearings are super nice….haha. Now luckily I won’t have to touch them in a long time though!! Did you notice how halfway through there is a strange lack of focus and glare? Yup. Grease got on the lens haha. It really was everywhere.
Hello, was there any early indicators prior to?? Just trying to diagnose my 86, such as a humming …. Which seems to be on the passengers side between 60-80 kms /hr noise gets lost with wind and normal hi way noise. I do have aggressive, general grabber tires.

@@StanTheMan-us3tp it could be the tires. I’d swap the tires around first and see if the noise follows. That’s a cheap and relatively quick test.
