29:00 My personal opinion is to just pull off the bandage and take out a massive loan to purchase the cement factory. With the money you earn from the cement, you can slowly pay back the loan. You are progressing nicely, but I'm afraid that at this pace you won't be able to finish the temple before the 200th episode.
That's how I'm playing the interest is so low you only need some small passive income generators to cover the interest cost then go from one loan to the next paying off small chunks after big paydays
Maybe he can "BUY" the factory and place it somewhere and then role play renting it. as in cheat the money in place it and pay it back and the role play a deduction for rental each month.
Just fyi, you dont have to always go to the production to see the amount, whenever you are near a production on the bottom right it will show you all the information about how much wood is there or how much of each product is getting produced.
i think the water buffalo is fine where it is. eventually they'll fill up the enclosure and produce milk so the TMR will not be wasted. Now the cows has been sold you can just replace the enclosure with goats enclosure. The plot on the forest can be for sheep, keep the milk producer close together. Also rice can be turn into rice flour, might be more profitable since you already rent the flour mill.
For the woodchips to be sold at the animal dealer, they can't be in the crate form. You have to load them into a grain trailer and dump it into the sell point. Not sure if its the same for the other sell points.
maybe it's time to go organic as you have slurry sat there would reduce your out going costs with the reduction in fertilizer costs, liked the blue more but a bit of green is ok , i say go for the grapes big style as for the peas and beans making them so expensive to harvest kinda killed those for me.
Said this on a previous episode but I don’t think many people saw my comment because the video had been out a few days. I personally feel mods like the extra straw and renting factories mods make the series worse, in real life you wouldn’t get very good straw from canola etc and it’s just not done, I get that it is technically possible to get canola straw however it would be worth nowhere near as much as something like barley straw, as far as I’m aware the mod doesn’t create different types of straw with different values. As for the renting factories, it removes almost all incentives to actually purchase factories and it is unrealistically cheap, remember when you sleep you pass a month not a day, the sawmill is £800 a month not £800 a day which is straight up unrealistic. I get using mods such as super strength as they are quality of life improvements. Not trying to criticise, just voicing my opinion (loving the series so far).
Well he said this series would be semi realistic so I think the mods are okay for now and the factories are so expensive 300k so to save up for that would just be boring to viewers since it would take so long plus doing the renting while he sets up the rest of the farm is a good trade off since the money he saves he can progress faster once he has everything set up then I’m sure he’ll change it around
Totally agree. I'm here cos I love Daggerwin, always will regardless of content, great person and incredibly likeable! But like you, I don't really like the less realistic side of this series... especially the ridiculous log loading 🤣 if you are going to rent the sawmill at a crazy low price, at least cut the lumbar, strip the foliage, stack it properly and transport it realistically... for me, that would sort of make up for the unrealistic £££ generated.
@@alexclark9305 what I meant by not here to criticise was that I was simply saying my opinion and I wasn’t trying to say his series is bad, hence why I said I was loving it so far
@@jangusstoneround totally agree, however, i just feel he will never buy productions that are on the map because what is the point of spending a few hundred thousand on a production when you can rent it for a few hundred quid, I think he will think the money is better spent on things like new machinery and land, the reason giants made the productions the price they are is so that you have to progress to get them and you can’t get them straight away, i feel it is also meant to be giants adding strategy to the game so players have to decide which is the best production to get for the money they have rather than having them all. I also feel as though they added the smaller versions so you can get to experience them for a lower price but now there’s no point in even getting those because it takes 3 of owning them to pay off the price of renting one of the bigger much faster productions, and that’s if you have rent them for 3 months non stop! If the price was something like 5-10k per month it would be more realistic and there would still be room to make a profit but it would make it worthwhile to buy the buildings.
There's a glitch with meadow grass right now. Plant actual grass in the field then place pasture without meadow grass and it will still act as meadow grass. Also if u take down a fence in your pastures (note haven't found a way to put the fence back up) go plow the field and plant grass and your meadow grass will work as it should.
Growing up on the farm, if i really put my shoulder into them, i could roll round bales off of trailers and into position on the ground so i wouldn't rule out using super strength on them. Anything that would involve picking them up such as loading them would obviously require a bail spike of some sort.
At the moment the wood chips are at their best selling price you can load them in a trailer pressing "R" and sell them as bulk material no need to transport them as pallets
hey i maybe got a tip that could help u in 2 ways there is a mod that features mowing bushes and grass so u can dod that in the forrest and use the grass for the buffalows and u still have the forrest ground!
the cool valtra turned into a minty deere instead xD btw since grapes are a bit off you might want to plant grass where you cultivated (just to bring in a bit of extra food for now ^^)
Just so you know daggerwin, youll gonna have to turn on fieldstones because if I remember correctly its the cement productions input so youll also need to save up for a stone picker ,hope it helps :)
is getting the grape harvester and planting vines really any cheaper than just getting the pea harvester or cement factory? I seem to remember the grapes taking areally long time to just break even
Mr Daggerwin, I have a Collectable location for you. If you find David, towards the west of the town/city, just the the west of his location, there is a collectable tucked to one side.
The cement factory is large and awkward. You will need a LOT of stone to produce the bags as well. Just an fyi. I'm fine with some production leasing: you're sourcing your own materials, ising your own machines to transport, and are just paying someone to refine your materials into useful items. Think of it like taking a cow to a butcher or having a piece of furniture restored with other materials. You're just having to pay labor costs.
I think renting would be fine if the price was something closer to 10k a month, remember an in game day equals 1 month so renting a whole sawmill for a whole month for £800 is unrealistic and I fear it leaves no incentive to actually buy productions that can be leased and you would have to rent for like 20 years to make buying worth it. I think it would be ok if he rented it once or twice every few years but every episode just feels like a money glitch.
This cement factory business. Maybe you can "BUY" the factory and place it somewhere and then role play renting it. as in cheat the money in place it and pay it back and the role play a deduction for rental each month for the use of the factory. Which Will Get You Serious Money and Buy The Sawmill First In Order To Get Rid From The Leasing Costs and No Loan But You Should Consider These Things From Episode 66 As Huge Purchase In The Thumbnail and 51 to 65 Should Be The Episode Grinding To Save Money.
I reckon investing money in a large vineyard and the required machines will be a big financial red herring with a limited series episodes, I can’t see anyone making the investment back and turning a profit with grapes before ending the series. Makes for good content and gameplay though so not a complaint! :)
Hey Dagger. I love the series but I don’t think the leasing mod is good addition to the series. Cuz for me its like a cheat renting the sawmill for 800 a month and making more than 70k a month. That broke the realism part which make the series more fun. Thats my opinion and I also saw many others saying abouth this.
Hi Daggerwin, enjoying your romp through Hutan Pantai! I've figured out a way for you to rent the cement factory. It's a bit involved, so I'll contact you privately with details.

i watched it back and i dont think the color that you saved to the favorites was the same color that ended up being applied to the tractor which is why it was more minty outside of the shop it is also glossy and not metallic like you wanted which can be seen at 27:09
Typical Daggerwin, struggling to make money and constantly taking out loans but still wants to build a Vineyard...the single most unprofitable venture in FarmSim...the cost of the yard itself, the machinery to harvest it...also logs are barely worth anything unless they are straight Pine logs...everything is else is better shredded into wood chips...
Also spensing a fortune on horses, water buffalos and sheds for it.. whilst having a horrible processing it. Selling a perfectly good tractor for less than 20k just to buy a SMALLER MF! We’re still cutting logs at EP50 😂😂 2 greenhouses and 1 mushroom farm which in total are about 150k, will earn him over 100k in a couple of months. His decitionmaking are horrible 😂
Can you lease the cement factory? Or does the map already have one? The Valtra S mod on FS22 had metallic blue and metallic emerald green and you could paint the roof a different color than the body. I wonder if, depending on how you have the roof options set up, it would let you have both of the metallic colors.
You're filling herbicide while parked NEXT TO a Hoe..which costs nothing but fuel to remove weeds completely instead of leaving dead weeds in the crop... EDIT: And while I was typing you caught it LOL. I will say, the Hoe is the best thing to have, since fields of small weeds only never seem to happen, so even if you get a giant weeder you'll STILL have to run the Hoe after (the weeders are only good for weeder specific contracts).
Its about time we start making better financial decitions daggerwin 😂 we’re still cutting logs at EP50. Insanely time consuming and boring. Atleast you’re abusing the leased sawmill now. Drop the water buffallos. You’re not ready for it yet. Greenhouses and crops are the way forward to get passive income. Or else we will still be cutting logs at EP80

EDIT: And while I was typing you caught it LOL. I will say, the Hoe is the best thing to have, since fields of small weeds only never seem to happen, so even if you get a giant weeder you'll STILL have to run the Hoe after (the weeders are only good for weeder specific contracts).
Make noodle soup with the eggs and flour
Here imma do a thing
Dagger i love this series
episode 5 of asking daggerwin for a setup tour
Its about time we start making better financial decitions daggerwin 😂 we’re still cutting logs at EP50. Insanely time consuming and boring. Atleast you’re abusing the leased sawmill now. Drop the water buffallos. You’re not ready for it yet. Greenhouses and crops are the way forward to get passive income. Or else we will still be cutting logs at EP80
I have to ask. Is the Red car the new Yellow car?
