I recently started listening. Because a kid name max got on stage. And sang. ( it was incredible)Then I saw old pic of Wes. I really 100 percent thought he was possessed. Had that red paint head looked scary . Then I see this guy. It’s crazy
I has my supicious and yeah you're right lmao, it's literally just the original track, guitar and all. Was wondering why it sounded extremely Recto-y even though it's supposedto be a VH4. Really misleading shit right there lmao
Absolutely. My band wants to do a cover and after I checked some videos and Ultimate Guitar tabs I fohured out slightly different versions and I'm not totally sure if any of them fita the original 100%. Now as I saw Wes himself had put this our right now I was like "woooohooooooo" just to be disappointed that it's without the actual sound. 😢
"finally i get to see how he plays every single note up close... i guess this is just a quick video intro.... dude... screw it. pause and check the comments."
Careful when playing with these plug-ins. Don't forget that limp bizkit played Rollin' on top of the twin towers on september 2000 which led to them falling exactly a year later due to irreparable structural damage caused by such a sick and dope guitar tone. Handle with care.
Well, i can never remember thr year clearly, but here is my funny story about 9/11. I lived in Uruguay, and Between the first and the second plane a friend came home to rehearse and we are looking there at the TV and he said "they are saying it was Fidel Castro"😮. And my father just laughs and says "naaahh, poor Fidel!"😂 ... Good times. EDIT: It was actually not such good times. The whole day MTV was replaced by news coverage from CNN. MTV in the latin american version! Like, I'm all the way down here in Uruguay, what the fuck do I care.
They put songwriting over noodling for the sake of the song. All of their tunes are bangers. Even the haters secretly jam to these tunes in private. But as musicians, they are all way more capable than what they do in LB.
Man, you have Wes Borland over, looking sharp as ever, make a signature plug-in for him, and you have him play this? And not even using the sound of him playing through the plug-in? He has such an unique style. Check out the song he made for League of Legends called "Hybrid Worlds" for example. That would be perfect for this video in my opinion. Guess they went with "Break Stuff" because that is one of Limp Bizkit's most recognized riffs... You da man, Wes Borland!
The ire is they don't have any more hits. That was the whole reason they were there in the first place. I'm 42. I like the original shit for nostalgia, but they haven't produced any bangers since. Industry offerings are shit and the landscape has expanded and changed so much, nirvana is now classic rock! That doesn't matter because it's overplayed on radio and everybody streams what they want. I'd rather listen to metal on UA-cam than buy an album from some bygone group. LB can't survive the internet era, nor can Stained, Korn, or any of the other bands who were awesome then but suck in comparison nowadays
@@humb1s3rvant I am not talking about right now. But you make good point. I am talking about how I am the only one in my group of friends (my band mates) that enjoys LB. And I have for a long time, it seemed to be the cool thing to hate when I was young, and still is viewed that way. Noted tho, I felt the same way about LP when Minutes to Midnight dropped. I completely stopped listening to them (and they were my favorite band as a 12 year old). Korn is tough for me, cause I hated everything after their first record. As you pointed out, yeah these "legacy" bands have failed to create new bangers and also keep up with the changing musical landscape that is the tsunami of new artists and sounds. And I think you can understand why they would play it safe with their sound, and continue to just nostalgia-bait. They can't afford to alienate their fanbase/income. Touching back on LP, I am actually stoked they are back and like what I have heard so far. They aren't truly doing anything different, however, they are getting streams, talked about, radioplay, etc.
Oh my days… how did they not get Wes to do Hot Dog? It’s one of the heaviest and grooviest riffs of all time, innovative as hell, and the clean parts are cool af. Would have covered all bases! (Great to see Wes getting the praise he deserves though!)

Hearing him play this live at aftershock last year when durst came out as numetal cowboy will forever be an unforgettable sound of memory that sounds almost exactly like the studio sound but spiritually different in a crazy way
Never ... actually seen him out of makeup before. It's kinda surreal to see this guy that was always photographed in wild makeup when I was in middle school just look like an ordinary guy that just wants to see the end of his commute home after working 10 hours at Guitar Center x3

I haven't bought a plug-in in a long while, but I'm glad I picked this one up. It sounds great, and it's markedly different from every other one I own - in both how it sounds and how it feels to play. It's got a lot of focus on the cabs and speakers, and that offers a ton of flexibility.
It'd be cool if you just had Wes jam with the plugin and do some improv stuff. He's great at that, and it'd be a great way to give a really sick demo of your product.
