Positives: -Veronica is so intense; this is fantastic -I love the edge in her second "Yeah!" -She does a good job of singing through the tears -I love the chill way J.D. says "I wish I had more TNT" -The way he controls her even while she is attacking him -IS J.D. LAUGHING AT THE END?? J.D. YOU MANIAC Negatives: -J.D. and Veronica's dialogue gets kind of drowned out by the clapping
I really like how in this version JD is essentially just playing around with Veronica. It seems like he doesnt seriously consider her wanting to kill him and doesnt really want to kill her. It's just a game and his plans would soon resume.
I agree, and he's like it all the way through, he treats her a bit like this curious pet with stupid views that's he's fond of having around but is essentially expendable. He's the closest to movie JD I've seen and it actually works really well.
The acting in this version is so incredible. I wish I could see the full version just to see them do the actual scenes between the songs. You can tell they're completely with the characters emotionally.
Am I the only one in this comment section that likes the fact this Veronica is putting emotion into her vocals, rather than just trying to sing brilliantly. She sounds truly fed up with it all, and I love it.
The line "That's it" when the teacher answers "boiler room" confuses me. Because it could be taken in two different ways. One being "I give up, that's it JD is definitely blowing up the school" or "That's it! That is where I will find JD to stop him!" This performance seemed to have used the second one. I'm not sure which option is correct
I don't know if this is included in the musical, but in the movie there's a scene at JD's house where they watch his dad blow up a building on TV by putting a bomb in the boiler room and thermals throughout the entire building. When Ms Fleming tells Veronica that the boiler room is under the gym, she essentially realises that JD is following in his dad's footsteps and using the same clearly effective tactic he used earlier in the movie. So when she says 'that's it' it's like she already knew where he'd be but Ms Fleming's answer was the confirmation she needed that JD was a true psychopath/sociopath, no different from his father.
I love the fight scene in this one! It shows how JDs always able to control Veronica and just thinks the whole thing is a game I would prefer it if at the end the gunshot was accidental like in other versions because it doesnt seem like her character to shoot someone, but at the same time it shows how crazy and intense it is and how she doesnt have time to think
I'm surprised there's not much talk about the fact that *Veronica shot JD.* Maybe she was fine with doing it in the Movie, but Musical Veronica's character is decently different.
That's why I love this rendition of the musical. This JD and Veronica are a lot more like the movie and I LOVE that. My one gripe with the musical is that they were too gentle and loving when their relationship was supposed to be abusive.
I love the fight scene. J.D really think Veronica will shoot him. He was also sort of teasing her, letting her come close to the gun before pulling it back. Agh! This is so beautiful ❤️
Where was this voice in Dead girl walking?? Her voice was so shaky and I doubted I could feel like she was a good enough role for the character until now
I liked the other fight scene where she was more on top of it. It was a lot more intense, seeing as you didn't know why got shot on the end. Anyway, they are really good actors! Well done!
I'm obsessed how JD act while Veronica is singing "I wish". He's like: O, really? What are you trying to expain me? I'm bad guy who is gonna blow up the school. But you're still fighting for our love. Little naive girl. I almost can hear his thoughts. It's kinda funny and kinda scary
Content Pit the guys in the underwear are Kurt and Ram. If you watched the original movie or listened to 'our love is god', Veronica (the girl in the blue) and JD (trench coat) shoot Kurt and Ram and make it look like a suicide.
yoUNEEDA JELLOSHOT I know, but its just sort of funny. Its supposed to be serious, plus they're dead, so two dead guys in underwear there just adds unneeded comedy to it.
every scene i see on this channel i see I judge and i'm sorry but veronica was good and not as flat as fucking jd in meant to be yours but veronica seemed a stiff while on stage with not much movement.

kurt and ram just standing there looking so done while theyre all clapping
And heather chandler behind them
This is my favorite version of this song. You can really see Veronica's sanity degrading here.
Yes
The acting of both Veronica and JD is great here.
Okay but the boy in pink is the most fab thing ever omg
KittyKagamine Rin IKR
beep beep dying goals
beep beep dying HE SLAYYYYYYYYYYYY
that boy is slaying omgoodness
beep beep dying right
The look in her eyes during those first belts. So good!
I kinda like the JD in this one better, the lines feel more powerful and realistic with this dude.
I saw your comment in another heathers dead girl walking reprise comment section .do I'm guessing you really loved this song .I'm obsessed ( ⸝⸝•_•⸝⸝ )
Am I the only one in this comment section that likes the fact this Veronica is putting emotion into her vocals, rather than just trying to sing brilliantly. She sounds truly fed up with it all, and I love it.
My favorite thing about this song is that there is the cheerleaders cheering, then Veronica's life problems going on.
Okay this JD is so cool and heartless and I LOVE IT
The line "That's it" when the teacher answers "boiler room" confuses me. Because it could be taken in two different ways. Sena Kumapley I've always taken it as the latter as well.

Both JD and Veronica is so intense/good actors it's amazing
the clapping kinda ruins the moment at the end, other then that
Am I the only one who loves her parents in this? They really entertain me.
HEYOO WESTERBURG
Ess' Drawings Tell me What's that sound?
Korden Caden HERE COMES WESTERBURG COMMING UP PUT YOU INTO THE GROUND
+Will Ci the triangular guy go go westerburg give a great great big yell
Hannah Jones WESTERBURG WILL KNOCK YOU OUT AND SEND YOU STRAIGHT TO HELL!
THAT FIRST SECTION KILLS ME EVERYTIME, the look in her eyes, what a GOOD ACTRESS
I'm surprised there's not much talk about the fact that *Veronica shot JD.* Maybe she was fine with doing it in the Movie, but Musical Veronica's character is decently different.
Jawsome
I mean... he was trying to blow up the school
That's why I love this rendition of the musical. This JD and Veronica are a lot more like the movie and I LOVE that. My one gripe with the musical is that they were too gentle and loving when their relationship was supposed to be abusive.
one of the best veronicas in my opinion, i can really feel her emotions. congrats to the actress 👏❤
I love the fight scene. J.D really think Veronica will shoot him. He was also sort of teasing her, letting her come close to the gun before pulling it back. Agh! This is so beautiful ❤️
By far my FAVORITE Veronica and Heather Mac
Where was this voice in Dead girl walking?? Her voice was so shaky and I doubted I could feel like she was a good enough role for the character until now
the clapping gives me serious we will we will rock you vibes and i love it
the emotion omg
Great actress but her voice sounds so strained, oh my lord.
she has been singing for like two good hour sooo...
Space Fawn that doesn't change the fact that her voice is strained lmao
Genally Ruiz theyre certain notes i noticed she csnt hit
If she could really sing her voice wouldn't strain. Her voice would sound tired instead. Good try though hun. I never said she was awful, btws.
it kinda depends, she might not be getting enough time to breathe. that happens to me when i sing sometimes.
I liked the other fight scene where she was more on top of it. It was a lot more intense, seeing as you didn't know why got shot on the end. Anyway, they are really good actors! Well done!
I'm 90% sure that the guy in the pink shirt with the scarf and the other guy next to him were also Kurt and Ram's dads.
SO good, veronica is such a good actress!!!!
It was more dramatic in my head
Why does this sound to similar to the actual production?!!?!?!?
Slayyy
3:05
D-Did this pyscho really just laugh rn??
Holy crap Veronica...GOOSEBUMPS
Kurt and ram be like:

I almost can hear his thoughts. It's kinda funny and kinda scary
some points it's just like she is shouting
Do you have the full show?
Ooooo I got chills that was so good
Edit:but why were they singing so slow
The best part for me was "COME ON WESTERBURG"
For some reason Flemming awfully reminds me of Betty Finn omg
I liked her acting and her voice but it kinda sounded like she was running out of air
I didnt really like veronicas singing. It sounded strained and off key at times Still good though
The only thing i dont like here is that jds coat is this weird khaki instead of black
0:42 >>>
Ram and kurt in there underwer in the gym clping and singing
She's nervous...
No she's not, she wouldn't be after performing for all that. Her voice is just strained.
oh so the BOY died
?
What's with the guys in underwear?
Content Pit the guys in the underwear are Kurt and Ram. If you watched the original movie or listened to 'our love is god', Veronica (the girl in the blue) and JD (trench coat) shoot Kurt and Ram and make it look like a suicide.
yoUNEEDA JELLOSHOT I know, but its just sort of funny. Its supposed to be serious, plus they're dead, so two dead guys in underwear there just adds unneeded comedy to it.
Content Pit yeah, I guess.
+Content Pit it's funny, and then you think about it and it really isn't (like...they're dead), which imo is the tone of the entire show
help why does JD talk like Ben Shapiro 😭
every scene i see on this channel i see I judge and i'm sorry but veronica was good and not as flat as fucking jd in meant to be yours but veronica seemed a stiff while on stage with not much movement.
She’s gonna kill her voice. She’s not that amazing
She kind of sounds like a goat-
That is bad singing No offence
I am the only one, that the red fat guy makes me inconfortable
