That area around Western is/was a German American neighborhood, and there is a German cultural center there, so that’s why there is a piece of the Berlin wall there. Lots of good beer in the area too. And lots of bits of the Berlin wall have made it around the world. Cheers 🍻

The first one is not true the blue line was it was extended to O’Hare in the 80S
