i lived in studio city from 2001 to 2005 and that place below california pizza kitchen was usually vacant. you could get a good panni there for a few months in 2003.

Grew up in Studio City but now live on the other side of the world. So nostalgic seeing everything. Not too many huge changes, but little surprises. Also RIP Jerry's. Art's is now the only good deli on the blvd.

Ah Studio City the neighborhood I came of age in, and all the restaurants you featured are places I ate at growing up and Carneys is a place for families, couples, and teenagers; I should know that’s ware Studio City middle school and high school kids hang out at (I did).

Hi Steve 👋 I believe I mentioned it before that I am a blue-collar worker and always on the hunt for something special. Because I am out with a crew not everyone is as eager as I am to try something different. But because I am on the clock it has to quick and not necessarily cheep. I do have have some favorites in the valley and will share as I remember them. Black Bottom BBQ in NOHO is the only one that comes to mind now. Would like to hear your thoughts if you have been.
