I've never been so hooked watching about the Catholic faith until I watched Fr Chris Alar about the apparitions and divine mercy etc..Now I started watching all his teachings everyday and started praying to all the Marian Fathers and now a member and donating some as well. Intercessory prayer is not worship. St Paul did intercessory prayer throughout the Bible. "To pray to" doesn't necessarily mean "to worship" but "to ask." Haven't you ever asked anyone to help you? We ask Mary to help her lead us to her son. To bow doesn’t necessarily mean worship either. Japanese businessmen bow when receiving your business card as a sign of honor. Are they worshipping you? So he was out of the big tournament , and. I witnessed the same with another boy , as the girl advanced. The f girl’s mother was in the bleachers near me and exclained with wonderment and delight that the boys keep defaulting, as if what a stroke of luck! I didn’t say anything , but had Inhad tine to think of how to say it without disrespect or attack, I would have pointed out that the tournament immediately ended for these boys bc they respect your God, daughter, and themselves, too much to wrestle here and that many parents don’t raise their sons to treat females that way.

As a Catholic Christian and a Knight of Columbus, I have no problem of praying to the Blessed Virgin Mary and ask for her divine intervention. I find many ways to pray to her and ask for her divine intervention. Whether it’s the rosary or a novena dedicated to her. And I have no shame either. Whenever I’m feeling emotionally upset and discouraged, I turn to her for divine intervention. I remember one Saturday morning, my friend was supposed to come over but he couldn’t because of his big semester and final exams. As soon he said that he couldn’t come over, I immediately grabbed my rosary and held it into my hand. And later that day, I was emotionally upset and started crying. So then I turned to the Blessed Virgin Mary and asked her what should I do. She could tell I was emotionally upset and said to me, “Alan, I understand that you’re emotionally upset about your friend not coming over today and that he’s busy with his semester and everything. But I have a idea. Since you want your friend to finish off his semester and everything, why don’t you pray a rosary for him and his education? In the hopes that he’ll succeed and graduate.” So that’s exactly what I did. And when the time came for the Novena dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima, I mentioned his name and his education. And on May 20th 2022 was a glorious day for him because he graduated, got enough excellent grades and got his bachelors degree. So I thanked the Blessed Virgin Mary for her divine intervention. Nowadays I’m asking her to intercede for my friend who suffers from Crohn’s disease. In the hopes of him feeling better. So no, I’m not ashamed of praying to her. As for people who are anti Catholic like my older brother. He used to be Catholic Christian like me but he stopped practicing and thought of Catholic Christianity in a negative way. Despite what he thinks of my religious views and beliefs, I don’t let him bother me. If he wants to make fun of me, let him but I’m not going to back down from what I believe in and I’m not going to let him get to me.

I used to not be close to her because i went straight to Jesus (I used to be a Sister with the Adorers of the Blood 🩸 of Christ.) I prayed the Chaplet every day but not the Rosary. You might want to read Rev 5:8 and Rev 8: 3-4. The Bible does teach that the saints are alive even though they died on earth. Consider, for example, that Jesus teaches that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is “not God not of the dead, but of the living” (Matt. 22:32; see also 22:23-33) even though they had all died on earth. In addition, Moses and Elijah are alive to Jesus at the Transfiguration and converse with him, even though their earthly deaths had occurred many years before (see Matt. 17:1-8).

The obligation of attending the Sunday liturgy comes before all else. If you go Saturday night, while not preferred, that does fulfill the Sunday obligation.
Sports use the word "hail Mary"...i dont really know why...but as Catholics I honor my own mother - 'Honour your father and your mother' (Exodus 20:12), 5th Commandment (& all mothers on Mother's Day) why not honor the Mother of Jesus. Who does not want your mother be honored. Amen

So then I turned to the Blessed Virgin Mary and asked her what should I do. She could tell I was emotionally upset and said to me,
“Alan, I understand that you’re emotionally upset about your friend not coming over today and that he’s busy with his semester and everything. But I have a idea. Since you want your friend to finish off his semester and everything, why don’t you pray a rosary for him and his education? In the hopes that he’ll succeed and graduate.” So that’s exactly what I did. And when the time came for the Novena dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima, I mentioned his name and his education. And on May 20th 2022 was a glorious day for him because he graduated, got enough excellent grades and got his bachelors degree. So I thanked the Blessed Virgin Mary for her divine intervention. Nowadays I’m asking her to intercede for my friend who suffers from Crohn’s disease. In the hopes of him feeling better. So no, I’m not ashamed of praying to her. As for people who are anti Catholic like my older brother. He used to be Catholic Christian like me but he stopped practicing and thought of Catholic Christianity in a negative way. Despite what he thinks of my religious views and beliefs, I don’t let him bother me. If he wants to make fun of me, let him but I’m not going to back down from what I believe in and I’m not going to let him get to me.

I used to not be close to her because i went straight to Jesus (I used to be a Sister with the Adorers of the Blood 🩸 of Christ.) I prayed the Chaplet every day but not the Rosary. You might want to read Rev 5:8 and Rev 8: 3-4. The Bible does teach that the saints are alive even though they died on earth. Consider, for example, that Jesus teaches that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is “not God not of the dead, but of the living” (Matt. 22:32; see also 22:23-33) even though they had all died on earth. In addition, Moses and Elijah are alive to Jesus at the Transfiguration and converse with him, even though their earthly deaths had occurred many years before (see Matt. 17:1-8).

Just a thought, when we go to Mass for First Saturday, are we also to attend Sunday Mass, as First Saturday is to honor Mary's request?
The obligation of attending the Sunday liturgy comes before all else. If you go Saturday night, while not preferred, that does fulfill the Sunday obligation.
Mary is the greatest gift of God's mercy, because to me she is the Garden of Eden. My dad would also undo his belt :D. I miss those good old days.

Sports use the word "hail Mary"...i dont really know why...but as Catholics I honor my own mother - 'Honour your father and your mother' (Exodus 20:12), 5th Commandment (& all mothers on Mother's Day) why not honor the Mother of Jesus. Who does not want your mother be honored. Amen
