Bought One Plus 5 in Dec 2017. Still using this phone. Replaced battery 2 years ago. I still have so much respect for the brand for giving such a durable product. Sad to hear that they are not the same anymore.
Same story with redmi. Long back ppl used to flash MIUI in other phones coz it had a lot of customisation options and the battery life on MIUI used to be better. Now it is just evolving backwards with ads, bloatware and heck a lot of bugs. I remember flashing MIUI on my Samsung device in 2014. Now I'm using Pixel experience rom on my redmi device 😐. But unlike OnePlus Xiaomi never claimed to be a flagship killer that provides clean and minimal software experience on a budget. That's why ppl don't care about MIUI becoming like this but are disappointed with 1+

OnePlus also hired lot of developers of Paranoid Android(Custom OS) when they started Oxygen OS, they are known for clean integration of new features with good UI. Paranoid Android team was one of the main reason Oxygen OS was too good, they ruined it all with Color OS

Using oneplus 5 since its launch. Started to lose battery recently and the equivalent phone options i had after through research is iphone 14 pro or samsung s23 plus. But i thought why not take a chacce and see if we can change battery.. with 1.7k i got my battery replaced yesterday and the phone is as good as new. Such a fantastic product. The real oneplus was until OnePlus 8t. With Carl pei moving out oneplus lost its value. Its very hard to think of a new phone with its similar features like butter smooth display, alert slider (main), charging speed, battery life etc.

Me thinking 🤔 of finally upgrading my 1+3t. Let's see if nothing 2 comes with 8 Gen 2. Also using one plus 6t, got it in seconds 2.5 years ago for 16k.
Cynagonmod oneplus la irrunthu remove panna main season they couldn't use this OS on the phone after oneplus one because they were made exclusive only for YU Yureka phones micromax company yoda innoru version (xioami ku competitor aaga plan pannanga appo). They had the fight in court and cynagon sided with micromax and won. Therefore, Oneplus couldn't use the cyanogen OS on their device in India. At that time cynogen thought India is a huge market and YU is going to be a huge deal. But both companies collapsed in the couple of years. Oneplus on the other hand became a huge deal and took over Indian market. I still use oneplus 6. The durablility is really good on this device I have dropped it plenty of time, not even a single crack, the device looks as good as new. I still get 3.5 to 4hrs screen on time and dash charge with no issue every time. The camera is good but its slow, however I use pixel stock camera(all thanks to XDA developers) whenever the camera's are slow. Overall the phone is good for my day to day work. I think it's still can last a year or two.

Moto G 1st and 2nd gen, X play, Z 1st gen were the phones I had used before one plus. Still have the X play running on a CyanogenMod build. Moto -> One Plus -> iPhones is my journey as of now 😄

I used to love oxygen os for its ui.. When. Dark mode came in android 10.. They were more advanced and brought those features in 2016 itself.. It was very close to pure android but with cool customisation.. Such as gestures.. But now😕 color os ruined everything.. One plus lost its value after 7 series... Nowadays miui oneui color os all sucks with ads bloatware... 😕Now I'm using pixel for its ad free ui..
Nope, i dint have that. I have other complaints about it. Service experience, data theft, prolonged bugs, their moral standpoints. But this is not about it. The above mentioned are the traits of any company with similar market share. OS is the first hand perspective issue. That green line was so atrocious and they avoided with saying water damage cant be helped.

OnePlus peaked at 7t and it's been downhill since then. I feel they are back on track with 11R and 11 though.
