The customer care is responsive, they sent official mail to regional centre and told them to repair the phone free of cost immediately. Got the job done in 3 hrs. But you're right, never trusting one plus again.
The scam is with "What they do with your old phone?" It's just a software update, hence the hardware is still worth every penny! They can potentially use them in their upcoming mobiles.
Actually heating at the bottom may work or make it even worse... There is adhesive separation which led to the failure of the vertical Matrix of the screen.. so by heating we may be able to close that adhesive separation which will apparently fix the display

1.The value electronics products always lower overtime so you expect the same value as you bought, not just value drops but also hardware starts to perform lower than the initial performance. Ex: Even if u buy a any sort 2nd hand product you are not gonna pay same price as the original buyer 2.Oneplus 11R is actually way better than OnePlus8T in every aspects but now 12R is better than that,what they offered was a good deal.(Not the best option it would be if they issue refund) People with such a big reach should do some research before making statements like these coz it might be a bad influence certain aspects.

Asked of they call me when the spare is available im coming that day to do that. But there is no option they replaced. At that time there is no replacement concept. Even they asked to pay for this. Said this is a hardware issue. Customer service is worst to the core. Simple they dont care . Struggled 6 months with them. No use. Finally said they dont spare for this 8 pro model that launched 2 years. It would be a risk to buy this brand.
