As Salaam Alaykum- I thought over this video for a couple days & I try to follow Shariah and Islamic Rulings a close as possible … but it’s clear some things are missing in this explanation starting with the first Principle. This explanation doesn’t take in consideration (for example: in my case) I have multiple disk problems in my Spine and Neck; so the pressure in these areas do not make it such that I can’t stand or go through some movements-HOWEVER, rather the duration, and rapidity in the process of bending, bowing and/or placing pressure on my head/neck when on the floor gives Pain. The Salat is not supposed to be painful, hence many people have medical conditions like me and this is the reason they sit. We aren’t robotic, and I have heard many or rulings, Hadith and talks that the Spirit of the Salat should not be in a robotic fashion. The Quran even speaks of making Salat lying on one’s side. That said, Allah knows best - so may He reward all for what they intended & their effort.

According to Quran , only 3 positions are mrntioned : • qiyaam ( standing) • ruku ( kneel) • sajda ( prostration) No bending position is mentioned. You ssid ruku and showing bending and position. Please clarify shaik.
My problem is arthritis pain in lower back, I try to read standing, when I go into sajdah, I am in total pain.getting up to stand again is most painful...

Asaalaikum sheik here comes in a qn were by my mum has stroke they did amputation of the right hand n she has the left hand which was also pralised it doesn't work n he can't walk n just In a wheel chair HW does he perform he swalla can you guide mi
Waalaikumus salaam warahmatullaahi wabarakaatuhu I am very sorry to hear such. May Allaah grant complete, quick cure and make everything easy. Salah can be performed sitting if capable or lying down if not capable sitting. Try and face the wheel chair to the qiblah if possible, otherwise it's okay not to face the qiblah. Then perform salaah by moving the back and neck for ruku and sajdah if possible. Otherwise just move the neck. If not possible to move the neck then while sitting or lying down as normal, intend ruku and sajdah and say the thikr. Just how I explained in the 5 videos. The parts of salah that have hand postures like tashahhud or while standing before ruku or in ruku and sajdah, the hand movements fall but reward will still be there in shaa Allaah. The other thing is wudhu. If possible, wudhu must be done. Even if someone else pours the water on the body parts and your mother intends the wudhu. Any portion still on the body from the amputated hand/arm must be washed according to some Ulama, even if it is just the point of the wrist If wudhu can't be done then tayammum must be done. Someone else can pass the sand on the face and hands (whatever is remaining from the hands. Some Ulama say arms until elbows too. But the main thing is from fingertip to wrist or tip of wrist only on amputated hand and if it is amputated beyond the wrist, wiping this part of the hand in tayammum falls) and your mother intends the tayammum If genuinely neither wudhu or tayammum can be performed, then both fall and your mother prays as is Listen to the complete lectures for more info And Allaah knows best
In the mosque of you stand up and then sit down while offering salah, your chair will have is hind legs in line with other persons offering salah and you will be ahead of the chair (not in line with others offering salah in your row). How about that?
Could you specify which part of this exactly isn't clear from what I explained in the video of placing the chair in the row in a mosque? Then I can try and answer in shaa Allaah
In congregation prayer if you stand up during this prayer only are you breaking the line? Is the line defined by the shoulders or heels? if you stand up from a chair then technically you are several steps ahead. Please clarify.
@JuneJamaludin-i8m you can pray on a chair with one leg. But if you're able to stand leaning on something like a stick or pillar or table etc and there's no difficulty on you, then it's better to stand during the standing postures then sit for ruku and the rest of the salah. If there's difficulty, you can pray the entire salah sitting. And Allah knows best
It’s best to focus on one thing at a time and maybe 🤔 do short clips. It’s WAY too much info. in this video. Brake down each required rule OF SALAH. Do different specific requirements in short clips. Insha Allah
What's most important is the sincerity of the soul, only the Higher Power would know. With all the prays and religions in the world, why is there no peace, from the beginning of humans and religions, to this day have humans found peace ? Humanity is religion, religion our way of life, much depends on the state of mind and intentions, only the Higher Power knows the souls of humans, not our image.

Salaam alaikum sheik what if one has eye surgery and is not allowed to bend his head at all at least for 2weeks plus can he stand for fatiha standing with the takbir, then can he now do the ruku and sujada sitting? and what is the status of his salary, thank u
In this situation when you're unable to bend your neck and/back for ruku and sajdah then you pray standing as you said and for ruku and sajdah you can intend the ruku and sajdah posture and recite the thikr of each posture as normal If you're interested, you could listen from minute 37:14 in the below link for some information that could relate to similar to your question. It isn't directly related and my answer here covers your question, but it's useful information ua-cam.com/video/s4t006jpNzA/v-deo.htmlsi=Ao-ZjsG0S1MahW1X And also 59:25 has a view points connected to your question. You will also hear the option of indicating ruku and sajdah with eye movements which is also a valid option a person can do in this situation but not a must ua-cam.com/video/s4t006jpNzA/v-deo.htmlsi=Ao-ZjsG0S1MahW1X
Assalamu alaykom wa rahma'tullah wa barakatuh, I wanted to clarify, for 18 years I performed the salah correctly, but due to il health, I am no longer able to . I heard of the hadeeth that the person will be rewarded to the same standard as the best salah they used to pray. But you have said something new for me, that if we are unable to perform each element of salah, we will be rewarded only half or however much of the salah as performed according to the salah of a fit and able person, is that correct? Jazaka Allahu khayran wa barak Allahu feeke.
Waalaikumus salaam warahmatullaahi wabarakaatuhu May Allaah grant you and all those ill complete health and wellbeing You are correct. Maybe I didn't speak clearly. I said if a person is capable of praying standing but prays sitting then the person gets half the reward. So basically If a person prays sitting because of a valid excuse, the person gets full reward, in shaa Allaah. If the person prayed sitting without a valid excuse in a salaah where he's allowed to pray sitting without an excuse, then here there's half the reward. (If a person prayed sitting without a valid excuse in a salaah where he isn't allowed to pray sitting without a valid excuse (like fardh salaah and other few salaah I mentioned in the video), then the salaah won't be valid at all) Listen to this video where I explain it better: ua-cam.com/video/N2HPHlhmkZM/v-deo.htmlsi=5tojzm_ry0kF_ruR Check minute 3:02 for the explanation Hope that helps and is clear now. And Allaah knows best
What can i do i have knee pain and i can stand and do rukhu also but the problem is while getting up from down n standing from sujood the knee pain increases
@@MuthaffarHashim sitting on the ground or chair? I read that if u can stand than it’s compulsory to stand otherwise the prayer is invalid. I dont have any problem in standing Thanks alot for ur response may allah reward u
@ahmedmajeed7288 either works. Chair is better if you're able to stand up because you've sat on the chair. Otherwise you can choose what's easier for you You have to stand only if you're able and at the points of being capable. So you're capable but once you've gone down for sujood, you then become incapable of standing, so then in your case you're allowed to sit Maybe check my full lectures on salah for the sick, I have two parts. You could also go through the comments section here, I think I've answered a few people who've asked the same question as yours
Check 45:10 onwards in below link for around 10 minutes to cover most things regarding your question. Can ask if something still isn't clear. Hope it helps ua-cam.com/video/N2HPHlhmkZM/v-deo.htmlsi=KE_NrlF2Vl3rt69W
I have ankle and knee problem and cannot sit the correct way and then struggle to stand up again without holding on to anything.. Is it allowed to have a chair in front of me to help me stand up from sajda? Or should I do sajda sitting on the chair?
May Allah grant you complete cure. You're allowed to get up holding something. If it still causes difficulty, check some of my replies to others who said they have knee/ankle issues too. Hope it helps
@Life_Education_Coach yes, it does. Majority of it. Just at the sitting postures, she sits how a lady generally sits - if she's able. Otherwise she can sit in any posture... like how I mentioned in the video or any posture she's able to sit in. The rest is all the same as the video or the same as a lady usually prays in those postures, like enclosing herself more in ruku + sajdah etc. Hope it is clear
Thanks, brother Check this video: ua-cam.com/video/s4t006jpNzA/v-deo.htmlsi=qkOj2u0w018Pt5Pq Minute 55:45 for around 2 minutes or so onwards for a bit more details of what you've said. May Allaah bless you
@naigagasonia7425 if you can't bend your back forward then in this case you just bend your neck. If you pray sitting then you bend your neck and done. And if you pray standing then you bend your neck while standing and your hands probably won't reach your knees, that will be fine in this case
I can't do sujud on the ground because my knees hurt a lot. I haven't been doing my salahs as this Sheikh explains. I did not know this. Does that mean all my years of salah are invalid???
If you cannot do sujud on the ground then you can pray standing and then sit on a chair for sajdah and indicate with your head for sajdah and the salah will be valid. You can listen to the 2 full lectures for more info: ua-cam.com/video/s4t006jpNzA/v-deo.htmlsi=03z1-UdZVsvEcxN1 ua-cam.com/video/N2HPHlhmkZM/v-deo.htmlsi=gGR7n3ukIquGXCH0 In the full lectures you will also hear that some of the Ulama - hanafi math'hab - say if a person cannot do sajdah on the ground then they can pray the entire salaah sitting and don't have to begin the salah standing. So if you've been following that, then you're salah is valid too in shaa Allaah. And Allaah knows best
@@MuthaffarHashim shukran Sheikh I was almost in tears. As a revert, I try to learn as much as I can. I could not imagine having years of salah invalidated.
Sitting on the floor is not the problem. My problem is my knees. It’s hard for me to get on the floor once I get on the floor I’m OK but then I need help getting up it’s the knees what do you do then?
If you're able to pull on something to help you up again and it's not too painful, then you can do so. If it's a bit difficult to do that or not possible or a bit difficult to get on the floor to do a proper sajdah and also a bit difficult to sit on the floor then in this case begin the salah standing and then you have the option of once it comes time for sajdah to do a proper sajdah and pray the rest of the salah in a sitting posture or you can pray on a chair and then stand in the standing postures and in ruku and sit on the chair for sajdah and sitting postures. Both options will be fine. You can choose whatever is easier for you. If both are equal then the first option may be better. And Allaah knows best Listen to the full lectures for more info. I did speak on a situation like yours in the full lecture (though my answer here is enough itself) ua-cam.com/video/s4t006jpNzA/v-deo.htmlsi=03z1-UdZVsvEcxN1 ua-cam.com/video/N2HPHlhmkZM/v-deo.htmlsi=gGR7n3ukIquGXCH0

He has over done the explanation. He should have just done a demo and simplified it.
Perform ideal prayer while a person cannot do the standard prayer positioin....
According to Quran , only 3 positions are mrntioned :
• qiyaam ( standing)
• ruku ( kneel)
• sajda ( prostration)
No bending position is mentioned. You ssid ruku and showing bending and position. Please clarify shaik.
Please do let me know if Tahmum is allowed and when can you perform Tahmum.
My Imam said it's ok for me to use a chair due to issues with kneeling.
My problem is arthritis pain in lower back, I try to read standing, when I go into sajdah, I am in total pain.getting up to stand again is most painful...
May Allaah grant you complete, quick cure. Aameen
Pray standing and do ruku standing then sit on a chair for sajdah. That should be fine, in shaa Allaah
Asaalaikum sheik here comes in a qn were by my mum has stroke they did amputation of the right hand n she has the left hand which was also pralised it doesn't work n he can't walk n just In a wheel chair HW does he perform he swalla can you guide mi
Waalaikumus salaam warahmatullaahi wabarakaatuhu
I am very sorry to hear such.
Any portion still on the body from the amputated hand/arm must be washed according to some Ulama, even if it is just the point of the wrist
If wudhu can't be done then tayammum must be done. Someone else can pass the sand on the face and hands (whatever is remaining from the hands. Some Ulama say arms until elbows too. But the main thing is from fingertip to wrist or tip of wrist only on amputated hand and if it is amputated beyond the wrist, wiping this part of the hand in tayammum falls) and your mother intends the tayammum
If genuinely neither wudhu or tayammum can be performed, then both fall and your mother prays as is

How the women should stand in congregation foot to foot shoulder to shoulder like men or jot??
Mhn share tk
In the mosque of you stand up and then sit down while offering salah, your chair will have is hind legs in line with other persons offering salah and you will be ahead of the chair (not in line with others offering salah in your row). How about that?
Could you specify which part of this exactly isn't clear from what I explained in the video of placing the chair in the row in a mosque? Then I can try and answer in shaa Allaah
In congregation prayer if you stand up during this prayer only are you breaking the line? Is the line defined by the shoulders or heels? if you stand up from a chair then technically you are several steps ahead. Please clarify.
... what if the person has amputation on one leg or both legs, how is the person to stand even if with help????
I need your help, please. Chair with my one leg?
@JuneJamaludin-i8m you can pray on a chair with one leg. But if you're able to stand leaning on something like a stick or pillar or table etc and there's no difficulty on you, then it's better to stand during the standing postures then sit for ruku and the rest of the salah. If there's difficulty, you can pray the entire salah sitting. And Allah knows best
It’s best to focus on one thing at a time and maybe 🤔 do short clips. It’s WAY too much info. in this video. Brake down each required rule OF SALAH. Do different specific requirements in short clips. Insha Allah
I can’t sit on the ground at all due to my knee problems.

In this situation when you're unable to bend your neck and/back for ruku and sajdah then you pray standing as you said and for ruku and sajdah you can intend the ruku and sajdah posture and recite the thikr of each posture as normal
If you're interested, you could listen from minute 37:14 in the below link for some information that could relate to similar to your question. It isn't directly related and my answer here covers your question, but it's useful information

Waalaikumus salaam warahmatullaahi wabarakaatuhu
May Allaah grant you and all those ill complete health and wellbeing
You are correct. (If a person prayed sitting without a valid excuse in a salaah where he isn't allowed to pray sitting without a valid excuse (like fardh salaah and other few salaah I mentioned in the video), then the salaah won't be valid at all)

Hope that helps and is clear now. And Allaah knows best
What can i do i have knee pain and i can stand and do rukhu also but the problem is while getting up from down n standing from sujood the knee pain increases
You can pray the first rak'ah of the salaah standing then after 2nd sujood, finish the salaah praying sitting
@@MuthaffarHashim sitting on the ground or chair?
I read that if u can stand than it’s compulsory to stand otherwise the prayer is invalid. I dont have any problem in standing
Thanks alot for ur response may allah reward u
@ahmedmajeed7288 either works. Chair is better if you're able to stand up because you've sat on the chair. Otherwise you can choose what's easier for you
You have to stand only if you're able and at the points of being capable. So you're capable but once you've gone down for sujood, you then become incapable of standing, so then in your case you're allowed to sit
Maybe check my full lectures on salah for the sick, I have two parts. You could also go through the comments section here, I think I've answered a few people who've asked the same question as yours

Thankyou brother, may Allah swt bless you and reward you Ameen
Does this manner of sitting apply to ladies too?
@Life_Education_Coach yes, it does. Majority of it. Just at the sitting postures, she sits how a lady generally sits - if she's able. Otherwise she can sit in any posture... like how I mentioned in the video or any posture she's able to sit in. The rest is all the same as the video or the same as a lady usually prays in those postures, like enclosing herself more in ruku + sajdah etc. Hope it is clear
Assalaamoualaikum. Sitting with the legs stretched towards the qibla is nit permitted.
Thanks, brother

My problem is Ruqoor, am a c_section mother how can i pray
You can listen to the 2 full lectures for more info:

In the full lectures you will also hear that some of the Ulama - hanafi math'hab - say if a person cannot do sajdah on the ground then they can pray the entire salaah sitting and don't have to begin the salah standing. So if you've been following that, then you're salah is valid too in shaa Allaah. And Allaah knows best

Listen to this video at 14:15 for like 4 minutes, you should get the answer in shaa Allaah
ua-cam.com/video/N2HPHlhmkZM/v-deo.htmlsi=E8uWaydr3j4wn0lr
And Allaah knows best

Pray salah as best as you can without causing harm or difficulty to yourself
And for sitting, you can do sajdah on the ground if you're able then sit on a chair for the sitting postures. Try and sit on the chair or in any manner that wouldn't allow the flatulence to come out, assuming it is coming out based on the position you sit (keeping in mind that in salaah, if one isn't able to sit in tashahhud posture, sitting in any other posture is valid, be it cross legged or however).
