Jesus did not teach "celebrate" his death. He told his disciples who were "with him" to remember him and what his death means. Not to forget the massive importance of what his sacrificial death will do for all of mankind. He did not say "ritualized" his death. After he would ascend, it would be left up to his representative, the Apostles, to continue and spread the teaching of the importance of Jesus' death. Many miss this and prefer to reduce the teaching to a ritual that does nothing.
It’s not a sin to acknowledge and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ once a year. And because nobody knows which month or what day Jesus was born, it’s not a sin to pick a certain day or month to celebrate his birth. But everything else that Pastor Gino says about this celebration is true, that’s why I stopped celebrating Xmas many years ago.

We celebrate Christ every day of our life, but at Christmas we take a special day to show homage to him for the love and devotion we have for him. You twist everything around. Jesus did not teach "celebrate" his death. He told his disciples who were "with him" to remember him and what his death means. Not to forget the massive importance of what his sacrificial death will do for all of mankind. He did not say "ritualized" his death.
After he would ascend, it would be left up to his representative, the Apostles, to continue and spread the teaching of the importance of Jesus' death.
Many miss this and prefer to reduce the teaching to a ritual that does nothing.

It’s not a sin to acknowledge and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ once a year. And because nobody knows which month or what day Jesus was born, it’s not a sin to pick a certain day or month to celebrate his birth. But everything else that Pastor Gino says about this celebration is true, that’s why I stopped celebrating Xmas many years ago.
I don’t celebrate Xmas anymore since I started listening to Pastor Jennings. Now I don’t buy gifts and it is a relief to not be running myself sick trying to get gifts for everyone. Thank you . Amen

Geno makes himself a liar with his statement. Neither my pastor nor any pastor I know teach that December 25th is the actual birthday of Jesus Christ and Geno Jennings should know this. Geno takes too many scriptures out of context. Whether a Christian person chooses to celebrate or not celebrate has nothing to do with salvation. For the true believer in Christ, the birth, death, and resurrection are celebrated everyday including December 25th, through daily prayer and worship.
We celebrate Christ every day of our life, but at Christmas we take a special day to show homage to him for the love and devotion we have for him. You twist everything around.
