    I know you made this awhile ago, but this just save me a lot of grief. I appreciate you for doing this video.

      You're welcome :) Over the past 4 years, xLights users have become accustomed to the models "just being there." The reason these models were never made was because they are built in to xLights. They have limitless ways to wire. Everyone pushes their trees differently.

    Thanks for letting me know that the model may already be in xLights!

    At this time and age, you would think that all of boscoyos products would have an xmodel to go with it. Thanks for the info.

      Glad you picked up something from the video :) Part of the learning process for xLights was understanding how to build a tree model. I've always thought of this as a great starting point for understanding the layout tab and creating models.

    Hello! I need to modify an existing Boscoyo ChromaCane 48 model into 50 pixels. I moved a few pixels at the end of the hook to use all 50 pixels on my LOR strings. I used two of these this past Christmas with a Pixie-II controller on an ELL wireless. I am trying to set up a better visualizer for 2020. How do I modify the 48 mdel in xLights? Thanks!

    Do you Have a Video on Boscoyo Tune To sign. I'm not sure how to put my channel in Xlights. I have only 188 pixels used but the Xlight element Has 360 pixel count for the entire element

      I'm sorry, we do not. You'll need to make your own custom model for that. You can follow the video on our site to help you with that.

    how do you set it up so that the star is incorporated into Tree model. Then it is all in one string?

    • @PixelProDisplays
      @PixelProDisplays  Рік тому

      You must place the star model after your tree model when setting the start channels in xLights. There is no combined model for trees and stars. You can not lock 2 models together. They will always be separate models.
      The only way to do this, and we don't recommend it, is to create a custom model. But when you do this, you loose out on a number of sequencing render styles that allow for interesting uses in your props.

    Awesome video! on my mini tree I choose to avoid splicing the line at the bottom of the tree ending with 87 pixels, any suggestions how to handle this odd number?

    I am doing this exact thing with the tree and star on top. How do I set up my tree and star all on one string?

      Jesse, I I use the model chaining method. You chain the star to the end of your mini tree. Makes it super easy. Here is a video that explains the chaining:
