Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, is one of the world's largest flower gardens, situated in the municipality of Lisse, in the Netherlands. Keukenhof is widely known for its tulips, and it also features numerous other flowers, including hyacinths, daffodils, lilies, roses, carnations and irises.
Where Keukenhof Garden is located:
Keukenhof garden is located around 40 kilometer southwest of Amsterdam.
How to get to the Keukenhof Garden from Amsterdam:
Garden can be reached by public transport buses which runs specially during Garden Opening season. There is no train station in Keukenhof garden.
If you have Amsterdam GVB day Ticket, then you can catch bus# 369 from Amsterdam sloterdijk station to Schiphol airport, from Schiphol Airport, Keukenhof garden can be reached by taking Keukenhof express bus# 858.
If you have Amsterdam and Region Travel Ticket pass, then journey to the garden is covered in the pass, you can reach Schiphol airport from Amsterdam by any means,
than change to Keukenhof express bus# 858 to the Garden
Keukenhof Garden Opening 2023:
Keukenhof Garden opens in spring season for only 2 months. In 2023, Keukenhof garden will open from 23rd March till 14th May.

Just an update the boarding point for the bus has been moved and it's around 10 minutes walk from this point. There's sign boards given to reach there but ensure that you reach at least 15 minutes before your time to find the location.

Looks so so beautiful. Why did you suggest avoiding on 22nd April? Is this due to the busyness and footfall of visitors?
22nd April is the day of flower Parade.
Well It's a very beautiful parade, but the garden may become crowded.
So if you are planning to visit the garden on that day, then book your tickets online in advance and reach the garden as early as possible.
Roads towards Garden may get blocked in the afternoon.

Online the tickets say bus trip is return. Does that mean it includes return bus to schipol airport ?
Hello, yes it means return bus is also included ..The ticket cost would be 31 euro for to and fro journey.. Have a nice trip..

There were few other types as well.. But majority tulips.. And yes they sell tulip bulbs as well.. For more details you can check their official website.

Can we drop luggage bag at location?
We have not used lockers ,so dnt have much info on that, however their website reads :Smaller items can be stored for free in the lockers (25x55x45 cm) near the park’s main entrance. You can leave bigger luggage at the luggage depot during your visit. You will find the depot near the entrance of Keukenhof
