Another amazing product. Just ordered them through my distribution man who ships to me in the UK. They look amazing. Now guys please source an LCD gauge cluster to upgrade the old school dash cluster. Come on. If anyone can do it, you guys can. Andru
Hi Andy. How can I find me a distribution man to get a set of these beauty’s ? I’m in UK Manchester and really want to order a set now ? Please help me 🙏🤞
@@owloffroad Well everything on your store is always too expensive for my poor butt I couldn't hold myself back and I ordered this now I am extremely broke lol. WHY WHY DID YOU NEED TO DO THIS TO ME!! I wanted LED Headlights since I got this van 2 years ago I couldn't not buy this!!
@BreakingElegance Next time, check out Vivid Racing. They're usually doing all kinds of sales. Just bought a pair novas black for my 06 dodge ram 2500 5.9 cummins for 779.81. They had them on sale for 780 and used a 40 dollar off coupon, absolutely worth it. I had the luxx series on my 05 dodge ram 2500 5.9 cummins for 5 years before she got rear end last December, and the luxx headlights are very bright, putting oem leds and the like to shame. My only nitpick with them is there wasn't enough fill light that the novas from my understanding ,and from what Alpharex themselves say, has. The light throw was respectful when aimed right.
Super cool! LED headlights were unavailable when I got my 2019 4x4 and it was the only option I felt like I missed out on, these gotta get put on ASAP!
Same here, that LED lights package comes and goes, I’ve got a 2023, spec’d one out at one dealership early february of last year and it was available but that dealer wanted to charge a markup, so i went to a different dealer, only weeks later, and the LED package was backordered june of this year. The only package i couldnt get
I think I saw your comment in the forums, I've been patiently waiting for a replacement on these old halogens. I've only used morimoto for aftermarket lights so I'm curious to see how they compare.
Would be awesome if the turn signal leds were also defused with a single bream like the DRL. The dotted LED is a little dated--- but still better than the stock halogens.
The factory halogens are legitimately dangerous. I can’t stand it but the LED bulb replacements I have in are ok for now. This would be a nice upgrade.
I'd like to know more about the difference between luxx and nova. Particular in how they function not just the style/aesthetics. Beam pattern, brightness, anything else that would tip me one way or another. Personally I think the luxx looks better to my eye but what would I be losing if I didn't go with the novas.
John, the Alpha Rex headlights for other vehicles have mixed results, with reports of leaks, as well as diminished light output over time. Presumably you’re aware of that and not concerned?
We have them on some personal vehicles (Toyotas) for many years with great results. That's why we have partnered with Alpharex. Good news is, Owl stands by the gear we will so if you have an issue we will take care of it.
@@owloffroad That is why I ordered them from you as soon as I saw them on the website. I knew you wouldn't risk your name if they were not the real deal.
The OEM halogen lights are hopeless….no excuse for this other than cost cutting. If driving in the winter you HAVE to have a light upgrade of some description.
I have factory LEDs on my 22 Revel, but they are only illuminating about 2 car lengths in front and I'd like to get another car length of light on the road. Can these Alpharex models be adjusted up/down as needed?
Super interested in this upgrade and watched their install video online. With our rig tricked out up front with a CAtuned bumper, winch & lights it seems a bit beyond my scope of diy skills. Do you have any input on the difficulty working around a modded out front grill/bumper as their guide shows removal of both.
Getting the grill out with a CAtuned bumper is fiddley but doable, you can also pull the fender liner and pop the bumper climps near the headlight. Its doable
Why on earth would you change out the factory LED headlights? They work awesome. This is a great option for those who have the standard halogen headlights. I upgraded to the LED headlights and the difference was astonishing.
You would have to find out the lumen of the factory Mercedes Halogens. I did a quick search but didn't find anything published. Thus far, the reviews on the new Alpha Rex have been off the charts.
Literally bought these last night while mindlessly scrolling through your website. Im so so excited

The factory halogen lights are so dim I think it is a safety hazard. Glad there is an option.
Same here.
Was an early adopter of these lights and have nothing but good things to say at this point. My only question is how they'll hold up long term

Please bring OWL to the UK, some of your sprinter mods are awesome 👍 and the quality of your products is always top notch 😉

It's a good question. We will get some numbers and follow up with you.
Can you do a video showing the differences, especially at night
@@Stoney4182 Yes, we want to do this, just keep forgetting. Our apologies.

Yes, we will on the next van we get in

Two years

At this point, no

Correct. You do not

Are the lens UV protective? No clouding
Alpharex has been making lights for many many years and they do not fade.
Hello, do you know if these headlights have European approval to be able to mount them here in Europe?
I do not know but I will ask AlphaRex
@@owloffroad Thank you.
Badass
LEDs are killing my night time cataract lens-replaced eye sight with tremendous glare.
ordered - the stock halogens are so dim and feel dangerous, driving my van at night is something I actively avoid

First comment......got nothing to say
They are nice but can not use led head lights on the 4x4 in the uk 👎
What is the lumens difference between yours light and original led lights. Thank you
