Claudine, I love ya, don't be shy
Come round my place, I'll blow your mind

Add a juggle and a dice
Nail my beard to the bathroom door
If it's what you want, baby
Come on, come on take take your mister heaven
Um yeah, I'll be my my my my mister heaven
Um yeah, I'll be my my my my mister heaven
Your angel-oozing male, I bet

Inflate your body, my inflatable queen
Want to get right in your sack o sack o skin now mister heaven
Um yeah, I'll be my my my my mister heaven
My god, I'll be my my my my mister heaven
Scream blue murder, scream blue murder...
Badly wish this had been included on the new B-sides and rarities collection she released. It's one of her most badass tracks.
Right?! ❣️
Absolutely crazy it wasn't, what a waste of a great track.
Is this woman capable of making a bad record?? Genius
I do love this & I think it needs to be recorded on millions of tapes buried in several locations around the world & some even shot into space in case the world explodes or something
I just discovered this song. It's crazy in the most amazing way.
I think it's insulting to say she's "the female version" of Nick Cave/whoever,
PJ is PJ.
She's very good on her own and needs no comparison but as an equal to any performer/artirt.
Polly and Nick stand on their own. 2 unique artist
@@danno4235 Polly > Nick
Polly will always be Queen of the Blues to me.....no matter how she continues changing it up.
Such an amazing song. PJ is a hero. No doubt about that! :-)
from album Jungle Queen (a collection of Dry and Rid of me demos + some other songs, Claudine is one of them)
this is quite possibly THE BEST b-side i've ever stumbled across. Forty five thousand thanks for posting it.
Everytime I sign in I find new, beautiful, and amazing music and videos of PJ Harvey
The way she growls in the chorus, ahhh so cool😍
Typical PJ Harvey, the B-Sides are always better than the album!
I like the 43 seconds of silence for the death of Claudine (the inflatable one). It gives you time to contemplate how cool John Peel was to record for posterity bands experimenting like this.
Polly never ceases to spellbound and inspire, she's one of the dyin breed of artists who still hugely impresses & never lets u down, after white chalk, i believe her most profound work, her latest collaboration with John Parish is another unexpected masterpiece..
wow! thank you so much for posting these
How is it possible that just after one hearing I love this song?
God this song is awesome!!!
awesome song raw rough
I would love this song also, if possible! I love her so!
She is great. I only have respect for artist that write there own music! Too many do not these days
Awesomeness
nice. little bit of tom waits circa mule variations
“Claudine, the Inflatable One”, 1993
Mule Variations, 1999
...🤔
Nice sound!!
I owe every song polly has ever recorded, many never released. You want it, I got it. I love you Polly Jean Harvey
Thats possible :) Well I think the picture fits, you know this black and white photo, and the bas line...reminds me of those classic blues songs :D
i don't have to tell you
the intro
is polly
in a nutshell
lovely song ... nice to see PJ has great fans as I
@anonymous9191 Actually, it has never been released in any official form. She performed this song on John Peel's show, and that it. This audio is a pirate recording from that show.
I wonder what a PJ Harvey - Shirley Manson duet might sound like? I imagine it would be very good!
*thumbs up* :)
it's great...... It reminds me of a song by Tom Waits....but i don't know which one...
blow up doll love song ; D
@slimturnpike The video got messed up when I uploaded it. The original song ends all right
And she's hot as hell !
jo der con la pj
I've been searching for the live version as long as I know this song but I've never find anything:-(
That is own not owe
Hello, maybe my favorite song from PJ.
Thanks for sharing but I think lyrics is wrong at 01'41"
Re: the lyrics given in the description, “Your angel-oozing male, I bet” is comically wrong. The first word is clearly ‘Claudine’, for starters.
it is from a movie
i have exactly the same feeling.
it's for sure because of this "ma ma ma mr heaven" thing :)
did she ever perform this song live?
Ohhh does anyone have a link of the pic?
haha, well I will never get and remember the difference between 'fit' and 'pass'. Sorry, I understanded your comment in quite a different way ;) Well, so than change it. Although I don't think its such a big deal. :)
This is awesome. Can you send me the audio too? PLEASE!
Wow, you are amazing, ZZqezza. According to the pollyharvey site, this is currently unreleased. Do you want to tell them you have it? :-)
I love this song. It feels like being in a circus, which I hate in general, but for this song, I like it. It might be partly because of the fantastic photo you chose. (Your other photo choices are also fantastic, by the way... Thanks so much!)
NEVER heard it!!!????? Where does it come from?
I don't have exactly the problem with photo - in fact it's my personal favourite one:-) but the song ends around 3.00 and then remain few seconds without the sound and it shouldn't be:-(
@ZZqezza me too please!! (andrea de poi at virgilio dot it)
i think "way down in the hole"
Is this about Claudine Longet?
what's up with the 30 secs of silence at the end
no way shirley manson blows
Sorry, but would you be so nice to send it also to me? :D
She's miles better than Nick Cave.
thats true.her's inspiration its mind blowing.Nick Cave has his typical narrative kinda songs by his side...
who's that caveman?
so this is a b-side? Which single?
Jowe!--I'm a fan-its not easy to be a jowe head fan in cincinnati. Its nice to see i didn't make you up.
so is it recent? I dig the horns, and I dont recall her using horns before this year....
Hi Wm. I dont believe that I've ever been to Sinsinatti, but I am open to offers! I have mainly played concerts up and down the east coast, with one foray to Georgia recently. I am going to fly all the way to California soon for 3 gigs over there, which is an exciting challenge. One day maybe I''ll get to play in your town!
1993
It is not a B-side. It’s from a John Peel broadcast, 1993. Never released on disc. Just broadcast the one time. People seem to use the term ‘B-side’ to mean any song that didn’t appear on a studio album, but obviously that’s not what a B-side is.
Does anyone have an idea what year this was made?
I'd say 1992, give or take a year.
@@HidingFromFate it’s from 1993, post-Rid Of Me. John Peel’s show. Aired once and never again. Two other songs from this same session got official release: “Naked Cousin” and “Wang Dang Doodle”. “Claudine” and “Primed and Ticking” did not. The latter was included several times in the set list for the Rid Of Me tour in the spring and summer of ‘93.
@@slacktoryrecords4193 I like your answer better than mine. Thanks for fleshing out the details.
maybe because ithe whole "ma ma ma mr heaven" thing is just amazing:-) But the audio doesn't fit the picture, which kinda sucks:-( I'll have to reupload it, bleh
Who the fuck is Claudine...
Maybe you should try listening to the lyrics once in a while.
Often she reminds of a female version of Nick Cave but every now and then Polly goes Tom Waits.
