Funny that the English version of the Bittburger homepage asked for an age confirmation of 21 years, while in Germany the limit to buy beer and drink it in public is 16!
Bitburger is one of the standard beers. It is brewed for mass tastes, like Warsteiner, Becks or Krombacher. It is quite good but nothing special. While each region has its own regional beer, these brands are available throughout Germany and beyond.
It's a good German beer but considered average in Germany. Still good beer I've tried it it has a mild taste you can drink it with any meal in Germany. But dude for the full taste you need to pour it into a glass to make a good foam head.
4:35 I‘ve never really thought about it, but now that you mention it, Bitburger would actually be a sensible choice to go along with some grilled stuff… I‘m really not much of a Bitburger fan (I prefer Hachenburger, a brand of a smaller regional brewery) - but that should work surprisingly well… fun fact: there appear to be Bitburger marinades for grilling… albeit only in its region of origin.
Yes, without trying to bash, it's just because of Package Design/Artstyle. Maybe the PR-Section should overthing that. ^^ 7% is not even enough to prevent frost/freeze. ^^
Bitburger is okay, not my favourite, but taste is individual and there is so much variety here ☺ I live close by the "Jever" brewery and this is my least favourite, very bitter ugh. I rarely drink alcohol, but Flensburger is my favourite beer, but most would say the taste is too "soft" I guess.
Moin.
It's a simple mainstream pilsener so you really can't go wrong with it. Just crack it open and enjoy it, end of discussion.
A solid standard Pilsner. A good base reference of that style I think. Edit: of the german pilsners. If you can find Maisel&friends Hell, don't hesitate to buy it
Regarding Guinness: i wouldn't have one here on the old continent. But when i'm in Ireland, i wouldn't want to have something else. It just tastes different there.

Danke für die Empfehlungen. Die deutsche Liste dürfte ich fast durch haben, aber ich bin sehr interessiert an den österreichischen Bieren. Mal schauen, wo ich die her bekomme.
🍺 I particularly enjoy unfiltered wheat beer, regardless of the brand. One of the most famous ones is a Franziskaner from Munich. Personally, I also enjoy unfiltered Zwettler Zwickl beer. You should never drink it straight from the can or bottle, though, because the yeast and aromas need to be properly released by pouring it into a glass. Before pouring, make sure to gently roll the bottle to mix the yeast for the best flavor. 🥗 It pairs really well with _Obatzda_ (a Bavarian cheese spread made with soft cheese, butter, and spices) and a _Radi_ (a traditional Bavarian white radish, sliced thin and salted), along with a pretzel or some fresh rye farmer’s bread.
@@Patschenkino I personally can't drink Weissbier too heavy wheat taste for me, I prefer lagers ,Pilsners, I have tried Paulaner Pilsner , Paulaner Lager, Spaten Helles , Pilsner Urquell , Bitburger. Krombacher beers from Germany. All fine beers.
Afaik Bitburger is kind of a mediocre mainstream brand in Germany. Probably still noticably better than the US equivalent (don't know about Canadian beer culture) but not really a flagship product Germans would recommend to foreigners. It's just like with Milka in the chocolate department, it gives you a solid baseline of the product category, but it won't blow any minds.
Argh. .. Bitburger ? In a Can ? WTF... O.K., general rule of thumb: If you can buy it in America (I mean the Continent, not the Country that claims to be America), it's not "German" beer. Or at least not beer, that Germans like to drink. That's why they sell it to Americans.
Moin, and Hallo Mace! A car is shown on a beer can??? Is that a good association? 🤔😅😆 But then they say "don't drink when you drive"! 😅 An american UA-cam-college of yours just tried german beer a few days ago. And then he checked out german chocolade. For me it`s interesting to see you also doing that. I'm curious to know which chocolate to try and what you say about it.
"A car is shown on a beer can??? Is that a good association?" Yes but who will judge you when you are out in the wilderness and the next sheriff is 50 miles away? ;-)
Even though most of my fellow Germans would probably burn me at the stake for drinking a beer that wasn't brewed according to the Reinheitsgebot, I would take the risk and try Chilly Willy.
In Germany we love so called light beer with reduced alcohol and Bitburger even has a Pilsner with 0.0 % alcohol and it doesn´t taste bad! I like it though it´s from the North and I am a Bavarian from the South 😜

Bääh. First error drink it out of a can. Buy it in a glas bottle and use a glas to taste it. On tab is the best for flavour but there Bitburger ranks for me at the ground of the bottom. It`s just a brand with a big etat for advertising but no real heart of brewing. I prefere my local beer.
Don’t EVER tell Germans what type or brand of beer you enjoy. Half of them will always tell you that it is crap. That said, I enjoy ”Radio The Mothership” from time to time. It is not German at all but I like it. It is a bit on the expensive side, though. But I don’t have the intention to get inebriated either.
The part of suggesting putting a high quality whiskey into an ice cold glas disturbes me. Why would you do this? If a regular drink, it does not matter if it is whiskey, wine, beer whatever do not taste at room temperatur it is not good quality.
@@UntilWeGo Yes, I know this glasses. But just don't put ice in a good whiskey. You can use water if iot is to strong and water it down. But ice will destroy the experience, the vapors coming from it.
