I'm curious if you'd accept the Einstein challenge to do the "Spectre Tile puzzle" by Nervous System in which EVERY PIECE is the exact same aperiodic monotile shape? It's only 111 pieces but they claim it is hard.
Hi Emilia! That Pokemon puzzle is crazy. I'm so surprised that that was the puzzle they chose for the competition... Wow, Honestly, I think everyone found it problematic. It reminds me a bit about the 1000-piece one "Dragon Alphabet." I hope we won't see any of the two during the Worlds. And, don't feel discouraged overall 😉At least you've had some experience you can learn on. I must tell you that, surprisingly, I find that the more you practice, the better you get at speed puzzling. That should be kind of obvious, but I was losing hope it's true... However, recently, I've been speed puzzling a lot and finally, FINALLY, I build 2 puzzles under an hour 😊 I'm so so so happy to see it's possible. Let's now hope they won't give us an "impossible" puzzle in Spain 😆 See you there, Emilia!
Yeah it was like 50% of surprise and 50% of oh f*** when I saw that puzzle 😂 I saw Ravensburger IG posting some options of the puzzles in Worlds so if we can trust those we should definitely have no pokemon there 😁 We will see in Spain, sounds like you are gonna kick my ass with your times if we are in the same round!! ☺️
You probably wont see this till after the competition , but I wish you the best of luck... I know you will do well you will come back with lots of good memories!! I enjoy your videos your love of puzzles your honesty.... I am excited for you !!!!
Has anyone here heard of completing the puzzle? I haven’t tried it yet but think it sound’s like a cool idea. It’s a monthly subscription, I believe. You get a puzzle at a time, return it and get another. You get to choose from thousands of puzzles and brands, try them out and not have to store them at home.
I'm surprised they picked a Pokemon puzzle for a competition! Because if you're familiar with Pokemon and especially if you played the games before you're gonna have a massive advantage over someone who aren't familiar with them. I've done the 1000 pieces Ravensburger Pokemon Challenge puzzle before and it was not hard at all because I just knew which Pokemon each piece belonged to.
That's very true. I also have to say that it wasn't the typical puzzle they usually choose for competitions anyway. I think that towards the end I understood that there are like these Pokemon "categories" like rats or birds in the same rows / nearby. But yeah, I only knew Pikachu and then that blue water pokemon or whatever it's called. :D
There's always one puzzle that will throw you off kilter. You just have to battle on and finish it. I would have thought that getting a puzzle like the Pokemon at Worlds would be pretty small. The main thing is to enjoy the experience and do the best you can. 😃Ah, I guess for August I enjoyed doing Gibsons Care Bears and Ravensburger's Typefaces. Currently doing Ravensburger's Blooming Beautiful 16762.
Ohhhhhhhhhhh 😂 But hey at least I’m not the only one, also seen some native English youtubers trying to pronounce it with no luck. Aaaaaaaaaaaaa this is brilliant!

I think I have this in my list of endless notes but haven’t taken a closer look yet. I will let you know if I get into it!
