Thank you. A video on the original would have been good, with one minute on "...they built a "look at me, I'm rich!" imitation".
Either the original didn't live up to the hype, or the new one was a scam, money-laundering and tourist -trap (considering I have yet to find a decent photo that shows any similarity, I think it's the scam.)
A lot of this is straight from Wikipedia...pictures and word for word descriptions. That's kind of interesting...in a litigious kind of way.

Besides, I doubt this skyscraper on legs carrying me came with ears, anyhow. Backhair to rival a mountain yak, sure, but ears I'm having some trouble finding. I had one chance to act before the drugs started taking over and really making the situation confusing--which reminds me; if you see a bat asking around for me tell him you haven't seen me. Don't let him sweet talk you either, he's craftier than he looks. Smart, too, I didn't think he'd make it all the way here driving the way he was but like I said he's very smart....

Nicely done!! I also enjoyed the humor in here, the imagined conversation between the fellow and his dad was hilarious!
Would like to say in regards to the closing - the castles of Europe weren't exactly the same as this tower, so really they never were meant to be graceful or beautiful, they were military installations and generally designed around defense first... Maybe it would be a closer comparison if we're talking about churches? Structures meant to impress, to awe the viewer. And also built to be the tallest thing for miles and miles...

Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Karelin (kah-RE-lin, Russian: Александр Александрович Карелин, IPA: [ɐlʲɪkˈsandr ɐlʲɪkˈsandrəvʲɪtɕ kəˈrʲelʲɪn]; born 19 September 1967) is a retired Greco-Roman wrestler for the Soviet Union and Russia. Nicknamed the "Russian Bear",[2] "Russian King Kong",[3] "Alexander the Great" and "The Experiment", he is widely considered to be the greatest Greco-Roman wrestler of all time.[1][4][5][6] Karelin won gold medals at the 1988, 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games under a different flag each time (Soviet Union, Unified Team and Russia respectively), and a silver medal at the 2000 Olympic Games. His wrestling record is 887 wins and two losses, both by a single point.[7][8][9] Prior to his farewell match versus Rulon Gardner in September 2000, a point had not been scored on him within the previous six years.[10] Karelin was the national flag bearer at three consecutive Olympics: in 1988 for the Soviet Union, in 1992 for the Unified Team, and in 1996 for Russia.
