Correction, i said in this video that the edc33 comes with a 5 year warranty but i forgot that the edc33 has a built in battery which make it a 2 year warranty instead of a 5 year warranty, which is yet another con to having a built in battery. 🤦‍♂️

I pre ordered this and have been very happy with it. The UI does have a learning curve. Not a big deal. The built in battery is no problem to me.

I left mine in my work trousers and it went in the washing machine for a full cycle oops, still working perfectly fine one month later.

Lol everyone who bought a edc 33 is pissed. These dumb flashlights are like cell phones now, a new one every month. I remember when all that was available was maglight, now there's a zillion different brands pumping out different models 4x a year and hardly ANY of them are made in America.

Shorter warranty and built in battery and posssible explosion if used too long......damn ive been looking to replace my edc torch and wanting something that can be thrower and also a flood. I guess ill wait to see if a company can produce such a light. Companies need to stop this built in or proprietary shit

Built-in batteries are dumb - especially when it's obviously just a tube battery judging by the shape of the flashlight.
In tiny or flat form factor lights it makes sense, but it's just stupid in a light of this form factor.
If it's going to require fancy circuitry then just pull an olight and do the proprietary batteries. At least those can be pulled out and swapped if necessary.

Literal hot garbage. Too hot to hold outside in winter after such a short time is ridiculous. I'm sorry but relying on the user instead of better thermal protection is unacceptable. Same with a non removable battery in a flashlight of this cost and size.
Although to be fair, I think this is partly companies responding to market pressure. Too many people look for the top number because higher= better.
I never go off the turbo or even high numbers. I look for the brightest setting I'll need and a corresponding runtime that's long enough.
