1 HOUR+ of Plane Spotting at Edinburgh Airport, EDI (Inc. Delta 767+United 757's)

Hi folks, I present to you another plane spotting video, this time from Edinburgh - And a much improved one to my last Edinburgh video.
In this video, filmed on the 15th June 2016, we see operations on Runway 06, including landings, take off's and close up taxiing aircraft. Of which include two 767's, one of Delta Air Lines - Fairly new service for Edinburgh, the other a standard British Airways 767-300. In addition a few United 757's are featured. On top of this, we see a Transavia France 737-800, a Vueling Airbus A320, Flybe Dash 8's and Loganair Saab 340's, A Helvetic Fokker 100, a CityJet RJ85, as well as two Brussels Airlines RJ100's, EasyJEt A319's and A320's, Ryanair 737-800's, Stobart Air ATR72's, operating for Aer Lingus Regional, a few Jet2 737-300's and more!
*Apologies for shaky footage in places, the video was filmed on an unlevel mound, but I tried my best

WOW CASEY!!!! Just WOW! I can't say much else, still watching the video. A bit of constructive criticism is the length of the video. Sadly I don't have much time in my day to watch the full 1 hour and a half, I think it'd be cool to see them split up into smaller compilations. But it's up to you,
I did consider it, but I just didn't, didn't want to remove any footage really either

I like how you have put in where the aircraft are going and you are very lucky that you saw a British airways 767 because they are going out of service very soon. And try Bristol airport it is not as big as Edinburgh but they do sometimes get a heavy such as a Balkan holidays a330 which operates to Burgas. And next year a Thomson 787-8 which to see lift off over a 2011 meter runway is amazing.
I have considered it, but been told several times there aren't many good places to film at, trust me I'd love to visit there, a nice little airport from what I've heard

I really don’t know why embraer regional jets have to flare at a very high angle before touchdown, I always see it in other spotting videos, but still very great view for aeroplane spotting mate!

So, are you allowed to stand there with a tripod & camera without permission,any hassle?.
What were you using in terms of lens size?.
Yeh the airport were fine with it, but some airport's can be more fussy than others, and I use a Panasonic HC-W570 Camcorder :) 50x Zoom

it isnt the best but if we wanted to we can go plane spotting and it would only take 5 minutes to get there

what plane is the 1st one? it looks like a 767 but I thought the 767 didn't use RR engines..
Yep its a 767-300(ER), BA's fleet of 767's are fitted with RB211's, RR Engines :) But other 767 operators like Delta and United use General Electric CF6's

That Flybe Dash 8 at 45:15 did not pitch at all
4:40 why was the plane dropping fuel as he was landing?
Vapour trails caused by the atmospherics, not dropping fuel

I have nor seen a single long takeoff, there are all short takeoff rolls.
11:18 Umm... Norwegian has DY/NAX not IBK.
They also use IBK on some flight numbers as well as DY/NAX
Ah Ok, Thank you for the Answer, it is quite rare to see IBK instead of DY/NAX which is the Most used on all Departing Norwegian flight's.
Thought FOKKER was defunct...
Some airlines are retiring them, but they do exist still :P KLM still have a good array of them left
+Casey Planespotting KLM is going to retire the Fokkers, and replacing them by the Embraer 175+

Edinburgh airport sucks, like there's hardly any international flights. There's nothing to LA, nothing to Las Vegas, or anywhere popular. They need to improve their range
Norwegian are planning to start long haul routes to the US soon from EDI

Glasgow is really close though, one hour car ride and you get many international flights.

I suppose when Glorious Leaderene Sturgeon takes Scotland independent on a pack of fucking lies, Scotland will have a world class flag carrier airliner to rival Emirates. Fleets of gleaming A350s, 787s, A380s, going to all corners of the world.
