Fans celebrate historic women’s Beanpot championship game

More than ten thousand fans attended the first-ever Women’s Beanpot championship to be held at Boston’s TD Garden Tuesday night. Northeastern defeated Boston University in overtime to take home their 19th Beanpot title. But the game was about more than the score. GBH News’ Esteban Bustillos, who was in the stands for the historic game, joined Tori Bedford to discuss why it was an important moment for women's sports.
