Frymaster 4GPM filter pump tear down.

I recently replaced this filter pump and motor combination for a customer. They were given optio s and wanted both changed. After having Toby Overton on, I was inspired to do some teardown videos.
I split the pump and motor, then take the pu.p section apart. Pretty simple unit.

Those Viking pumps look identical to those on a Vulcan fryer. If there’s gummed gunk in the pump than there may be same in the lines, valves & elbows. That’s been my findings in the past.
