This is one of the most colourful and cheerful, yet heartbreaking and devastating HipHop Songs ever. The Juxtaposition of them playing on the playground with the fantastical 'subway-surfers'-esc beat to the reality of them having grown up and running from the guns is ingenious. One of the best hiphop songs of the year without a doubt - masterpiece.

This song is weirdly cool. Very playful and fun vibe to the song and the beat is so good. The actual lyrics feel so weirdly disconnected from the beat, like you mentioned and that just makes this song feel so funny and cool to me.
