The early and heavy rocking Triumph. This band was great through all their phases, albums, songs and tours. Triumph rocks! To me the holy trinity of Canadian Rock And Roll has always been Triumph, Rush and April Wine. Thank you, Canada! Up the LaBatts!
I remember being 15 in 1981, when Moving Pictures, Allied Forces, and Nature of the Beast all came out, and playing them each to death. Music like that just isn't made any more. All three were amazing, professional live acts.
Fantastic night of rock n' roll at the Forum... Moxy opened up with their great set and then Triumph exploded on stage with a fabulous show. This 15 year old kid enjoyed every second of it.
Unbelievable!!! I was 16 when I attended this concert!! Can't believe there is footage of it. Like the previous posters I distinctly remember the sound check in front of a sold out crowd. It was like getting 2 concerts in 1. Never quite understood why this band didn't get the recognition in Canada like they deserved. Anyway thanks a ton for bringing back one if the best memories I have from my teenage years!!
Just stumbled on this. What a blast that concert was.I remember they played Street Fighter as a sound check in the afternoon. Paddle boats in the tunnel anyone? Thanks so much for posting. Is there any more of this historic footage around? Wow
Wow thanks so much for uploading this, Do you have more from this concert. I know they filmed the entire show. I left school at 10:00 am, got to Ontario Place Forum in Toronto on that day at 11:30 am, we were lucky to get a seat, by 4:00 pm, they closed off the entire entrance SOLD OUT. ! was like 14 and what an FN show, they do not make bands like this anymore that can play live off the floor, with NO AUTO TUNE, Sampling and other crap, This is as raw and live as it gets, after see them I got into music learned to play guitar, piano and sing. So glad I was at this show and also got to see them live other times. IF you get a chance see Rik Emmett and his band, he still has it man, would love to see a reunion. Street Fighter Man, Blinding Light Show, Texas Shaker, thanks for the memories it is all in the MAGIC OF THE MUSIC !!!!
This is awesome!!! Thanks so much for posting. What a time capsule of the best band ever. Would do anything to be able to see the entire show. Please please upload
