I have two shields, 3 fire sticks (1 is the max) and two tvo 4k. Nvidia Shield is hands down the best
I only have two Fire Sticks 4K what makes the Nvidia Shield the best, what do you like about it what does it do differently than the firestick? Is it because this good for gaming?
@@ladymax23 I've been streaming since 2017 and when I started Fire Sticks weren't 4k and they buffered all the time so I tried the shield and became a fan. All so I can record programs because of the storage space on the shield.

@@ladymax23 The Shield is more powerful for it's use for gaming, but the Cube is runner up for all what you get for a decent price. There are some devices that are more powerful than the cube, but don't have the features like 4k Netflix, Dolby Atmos etc. The Cube is probably the most underrated device of them all.

Great video with a great list of devices I have 3 of the 4K fire sticks, and a 2nd gen cube that I love, also just picked up a TiVo 4K for 15$ all the wall-mart’s started putting them on sale about a month ago and I have even hooked it up yet but after watching this video it makes me want to try it out now. Btw I also have the first buzz vid stick but my favorite device is my cube I would love to try the new Max but it runs iOS 7 also and as you know has broken Icons so if I buy any more fire devices they will definitely be cubes, thanks for all your help and another great video my friend have a great day!!

Hi. While I have a few of these devices. My daily go to is my Nvidia Shield Pro.
I like roku it's simple and to the point
TiVo stick has lot of issues with wifi connection. I have two Nvidia shield tubes in my house and two Chromecast with Google tv.

I’m like you. I prefer Android TV over FireOS but that is just personal preference. FireOS 6 and 7 are great operating systems. Time to put FireOS 5 to bed. My distant 3rd operating system is Stock Android. That’s why I don’t like Buzz TV because their devices run on Stock Android. My favorite device is the Nvidia Shield but if my friends don’t want to pay that kind of money I recommend the MeCool KM2. They like Netflix and the only MeCool device that is Netflix certified is the KM2. It’s a moot point for me because I don’t use Netflix. I travel on the road a lot and the best device for hotels is the Chromecast with Google TV. I expanded the storage and use a small carrying case for it.

The Shield is overpriced if using solely for streaming. Although, I value your knowledge, these choices are not quality for streaming. They lack quality build and the remotes are so cheap. If you're serious about streaming I would look at spending more $ and not a device coming from China. Also, make certain your manufacturers use OTA updates or your device will become outdated very quickly. I don't want to be tied to anything that google or Amazon makes.

I have a shield.. Not worth the price point for streaming alone..I play retro games on it and absolutely worth it for that . For streaming alone, and you want a Nvidia Layout and feel, get the Mecool KM2.. Not the one recommended there as that isn't fully certified Netflix. The KM2 is and it's a beast and comes with the now standard google remote which is far better than the one you get with the Chromecast.. I have the following at home

I think the TiVo is a pile of sh*t fill a performance point of few. Just awful response when navigating. The shield is the best but the Mecool is my go to for the second room in the house.. The Chromecast is great but I hate the way it takes 10 seconds for the apps to appear.. You get the grey squares until it loads. The fire devices get used in the kids room and projector and are great but I agree that I'm not keen on the interface and prefer the android/google interfaces

No mention of the ONN device?.....I'm no fan of Walmart and by the way, I've owned every one of the Firesticks and still own my Nvidia Shield.
On sale now for under $20, the ONN streaming device( not the stick) is BY FAR the absolute best value out there, I now own 4 of them......to not even mention it in this video speaks volumes......people, you want a great device at a great price, visit your local Walmart, you can't go wrong!
Totally agree with your list. Chromecast made a mistake with that remote. Like it's smoothness. The Cube is the best other than the Shield $ for $. The Shield is the Shield.Great review.
Hope you had a fantastic thanksgiving. I have two shield since 2018 and they still are flawless. I have a few 4k firesticks and the 4k max that we use for travel. But I recently bought the Buzztv XRS 4900. Im like you. Its glitchy. BUT once you get the glitches worked out it is a streaming god. Other than burning threw batteries. I believe it equal to the shield. With a fee updates it could easily pass the shield.
Tivo you need a prescription it's not free. Well over 90 percent of the people I know don't want to pay it's the soul reason they are cutting the cord.
Roku Ultra is great but with Roku in disputes with everyone especially youtube I can't recommend buying one now
Firestick used to be my favorite but not a fan of the new interface update
Chromecast is great but needs a better remote Plus I can't get Plex to work right with the one I have
I also have a Nvidia Shield which I use mainly as a Plex server ( Can we get a new remote with a mute button please!?)
