Kerr gets discredited so often as a coach but they would not be as successful without the motion/triangle offense hybrid he implemented. The year before he was hired, the Warriors ran an iso/PNR offense that was dead last in made passes and in his first year, they were ranked #1 in assists, points, and #2 in offensive rating. Dude is underrated if anything

“ I’m not buying that..... get up “. Got to love the way the game was officiated back in the 90s

Kerr is one of those 90s guys who were tiny, don't look like much and to be honest wasn't much, but was as tough as they come. In one play in this series (i think in this game), he sets a screen for Kukoc and Malone, who was guarding Toni, comes over and just knocks him off his feet, crashing onto the ground. Kerr gets up, shakes off the fact that he got man-handled by a dude twice his size, and goes to play defense. No fuss, no crying to the ref.

The impressive thing about Jordan is he never forced his dominance... He allowed the game to come naturally to him and because he understood all the elements of the game he knew where to be and when to be there. That's one thing Kobe failed to learn from the man whose game he studied.

They should get Skip Bayless to analyze so we can all get some good comedy.

you KNOW Kerr insisted on putting a mistake that HE made in there - cuz he's a coach - he has an example to set.

I love how Michael isn't calling for the ball and after Dennis shoots, he's getting back on defense instead of staring at it. If you were lucky enough to watch mj live in the 90s, the thing that would surprise you most is how seamlessly he worked within the team. Sometimes you couldn't pick him out from the other players. That's not something you see in LeBron.

Jazz are such a underrated team. Not flashy or athletic but very smart , tough, fundamentally sound, and extremely well coached. Team was tough
