Yeah, interesting isn't it? Mirrodin is an "artifact" block but only had one card make the list. Cranial Plating was #11 though, and Mirrodin Besieged managed to get some cards on the list.
Mirrodin and Kamigawa still hold a lot of great memories. Not just the themes of the blocks and playing standard. But the novel books were gold as well. Would absolutely love to see a return to Kamigawa!
I really enjoyed proliferate and charge counters. Like Lux Cannon, Darksteel Reactor, and Everflowing Chalice combo'd with Energy Chamber, Coretapper, Unwinding Clock, Voltaic Key, and Contagion Engine/Clasp. Hell, I used to use Contagion Engine to wipe, then proliferate Karn, Liberated, and well, basically everything else.
@Megan McCarthy King typically in this situation, when the so-called “troll” is so obviously being sarcastic, the proper response would be “Yeah obviously how couldn’t he put Juju bubble as #1, it’s the best card in the game!” Or something of the sort. I understand you can’t read sarcasm, but please, it was fairly obvious.
I would also recommend to add a visual indicator, if a card is banned in a certain format. That way you don't always have to mention it yourself and you can save time. You could implement this (for example) as a small icon in the top right or left of the screen that says "BANNED in: ... ..."
Does anyone else feel that banning cards is weak? Especially in commander where you can only run 1 copy. There's a MTG reviewer that looks at numbers and stats of pulling cards and specific hands etc. He seemed to think that the randomness of the game plus only one copy lends more to not having bans.

Yeah, Aether Vial is a great card with a pretty high score (it has 2 PT Top 8s and 28 GP Top 8s for a score of 32) -- but on a list looking at as broad a subject as this one -- an entire card type, it doesn't really even come close. It is somewhere around #25.
How is Time Vault not on this list? That card had to be nuked from orbit across every competitive format because of its inherent ability to, you know, break the entire game.
Because it was, as you said, nuked from orbit in every competitive format. These lists are made based on how many decks that included this card were able to win tournaments and other official events, not on raw power alone. Considering that as far as I’m aware, Time Vault is banned in literally every format, including Legacy and Vintage, it can’t exactly rack up any points. It’s the same reason that despite being probably one of the most busted spells ever printed, Time Walk might have a lower score than something like force of will, or Fastbond might have less points than rampant growth: if you are so broken that WotC bans you after a single tournament, you are probably really busted, but since you are banned no one will be playing you.
I once build an entire arcbound deck for lulz and played my friend with it. It also had all parts of ursas mines to generate tons of colorless mana, and one card I forgot that manufactured 1/1 artifact creatures. So essentially the point was that the board power would always stay the same, no matter how many creatures my enemy killed. Even if he managed to wipe all of them, I could manufacture a 1/1 artifact creature as an interrupt and put all the counters from the arcbound creatures on it. It became so rediculous at one point that I created 20 mana a turn, created 20 creatures, sacrificed them all to pump up my arcbounds, then did it all over again. It´s probably banned in everything tho.
I know these videos are not to be taken super serious, but this one kind of bothers me. If your only using the grading system you have this is an ok list. I assumed it had to have been banned, given that it didn't get as many PT Top 8s as you would think in Standard -- but in those days the formats of PTs rotated, so they weren't all in Standard. I also thought I remembered the Jitte being banned back in the day, but I think it must have just been my play group, haha.
I mainly remember because at the end of Kami/Rav when Coldsnap (Ohran Viper) came out there was a Snake deck that was fun, but mostly was good because it provided an endless supply of bodies to hold the Jitte. It didn't really get recorded in the annals of MtG top 8's because it became popular after Nationals, the last major Standard event before rotation. Speaking of which, the beginning of a deck that had Counterbalance, Top, Dark Confidant, and Jitte also appeared at the Japanese Nationals, but people were okay with it because there wasn't another major event where it could break things. I'm kinda curious, what databases are you using, and what order did you use for looping (Aka, check for artifacts in the card database first, then sift through the deck database or vice versa)? 'Cause if you did that searching by hand... dang. Impressive checking either way
Setting aside the fact that this list is somewhat out of date now, I think it illustrates why this point-based method of writing up top 10 lists just doesn't make sense. There are a multitude of reasons why one card might have more points than another card, may of which have nothing to do with how highly most people would rank those cards.
I'm surprised that Isochron Scepter didn't make the list. Back in the day, that card was unbelievably versatile. If your opponent imprinted counterspell or lightning bolt onto it an, forget it you were fucked.
I am quite surprised icy manipulator isn't on this list. still still one of my favorite old school MTG card. i even have won the original artwork and without the tap symbol. and if you know your history for one mana you can tap any of opponents lands creatures or artifacts and they can't use there abilities. and if you played icy manipulator before it got reprinted you could tap all of your opponent stuff and take control. and yeah I understand that with 4 mana and with the tap symbol you still had control over one thing so I understand why it's not on the list.
I run a good stuf Aurelia the warleader deck it's exactly what it sounds the best red and white the two weaker colors in edh it has some interaction's but that's about it sometimes I switch Aurelia out for Gisela they both have their advantages Gisela might be slightly better but a little less fun in my opinion
Wasn't Sensei's Divining Top banned from Legacy in 2016? It was the same year my buddy graduated from college, he had just built Miracles and put the entire list together and a month later top was banned.
2 years later but i will answer you. Masticore was good because, at the time, a 4/4 that cost 4 colorless mana was very good (creatures were bad at that time, Ernham Djinn a 4/5 cost 3 and 1 green, was one of the best creatures at its time or Morphling) If you add to the stats that Masticore could regenerate and be a mana sink that can kill creatures, there you have the reason Masticore was so good :P

It's good in commander, but in 60 card magic a 4 mana artifact that doesn't directly affect the board or draw cards is generally not where you want to be.
