- Today marks the 60th Anniversary of the 1964-65 New York World's Fair! To celebrate, let's visit a classic attraction that debuted at the World's Fair six decades ago... Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln! This World's Fair exhibit was a breakthrough in Walt Disney's audio-animatronic technology, and allowed guests to see an incredible, lifelike representation of President Abraham Lincoln. While Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln is currently closed for refurbishment at Disneyland, we've captured the full experience of the attraction for this video, including the pre-show and Opera House lobby. Happy anniversary, Mr. Lincoln!

As a little kid, my brother became obsessed with the American Civil War and Abraham Lincoln; those fascinations have stayed with him through numerous scholarly articles to this day. But in many ways it was seeing Great Moments with Mr Lincoln solidified his enduring love.

Very nice job of capturing the essence of this attraction! On family visits to the park, growing up, Dad made sure that Lincoln was always the first stop of the day. Former Imagineer Josh Shipley headed up the show's revision with the creation of a new, more advanced Audio Animatronic figure in 2010...breathing new life and renewed interest in the show. Since then, more changes have been made, and I only wish that Lincoln's full original speech by actor Royal Dano was still included. There are notable sections that have been cut, either for time or editorial reasons. I still hear them in my head to this day. Thank you, Walt, for your boundless creativity that continues to inspire us all.
This like most is SO MUCH BETTER in real life. Great tribute, hope it never goes away!
Unpopular opinion, this is a must do for me every visit to Disneyland. We live in Northern CA and only visit once or twice a year but it is a must do for sure!
Not unpopular at all. The long term Lincoln speech is exactly what is needed today. Imagineering at its purest here. Also a must every time i go.
I'm from Northern CA too and always visit "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln". It's a classic.
I go on it all the time. Its also great to go on in the summer when its hot and they blast the air on. Very relaxing way to watch the show, cool down, and get refreshed.
Every time I visit Disneyland I have to check and see if that Captain EO poster is still there at the exit but it’s been a couple years since my last visit, so that was a nice surprise 💜 always love your videos!

At @23:06 "Muller's Landing" is actually the Disneyland Railroad Freight Station next to the New Orleans Frontierland Railroad Station (which is a copy of the station used in the Disney movie "So Dear To My Heart").
