I'm from kuching & my wife's from sabah. we both work in KL. So we never have a chance to go to those places that u 2 have been to. Would love to do what u do one day. Thanks for the beautiful videos, the amazing view that u have captured. Still in awe gazing at mount kinabalu while going around it.

@@2UpAndOverloadedwhen travel peninsular..beside from johor, melaka, negeri sembilan, Putrajaya, KL all the way to Penang, Langkawi and Perlis. i suggest u guys explore east coast of peninsular also like Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan. East coast peninsular got scenic roads along the coast with many beautiful beaches and island. Its where beautiful island such as Pulau perhentian, pulau redang located. I think kuala terengganu very nice to stay a few days to explore local and the city very baeutiful with Draw Bridge, Taman Tamadun Islam, Crystal Mosque, Terengganu State Muzium epic style. From Pahang to Kuala Terengganu there is large Petronas Refinery plant at Chukai Kemaman, also iconic to that area because at night the sky on the area will light up from petroleum waste burning up high. Peninsular got high land road famous for riders such as Karak highway, fraser hills, genting highland, cameron highland and Jalan Raya Timur Barat (east west Road), link between east (kelantan, terengganu) to Kedah, Penang and Perak through Belum Rainforest and Banding Lake..one of the oldest rainforest.
Its a good news to do a mototcycle tour in Borneo. There is still a lot to explored and there is so many thing to discover in Sarawak and Sabah. But in November and Disember might be a raining season here. Anyway its a good news from your guys. Stay safe keep smiling and enjoys your tour 😁❤️
Hello Tim and Marisa notier. Fyi, Sabah only became a part of Malaysia in 1963. Prior to that, it was an autonomous region on its own known as North Borneo. At one time linked to the Sulu Sultanate and also the Brunei Sultanate.
Magnificent! What a great idea to lead a tour of your friends around the island. Many of us would love to join you but few will be able. They will be the fortunate ones, while the rest of us will look forward to the videos. For future snorkel trips, you will find it much less tiring to teach yourself to not use your arms, only use your legs. Without fins our feet do almost nothing to move us through the water so we learn to use our arms/hands, but when we have fins on our feet it is the opposite, our legs/fins/flippers do everything and trying to use our arms often slows us down and certainly is more tiring. Also, try to learn to kick with more range with very little bend at the knee. Actually, just watch a few how-to videos on the University of UA-cam, there must be many teaching proper diving with fins. Anybody can put on fins but unless they get instruction on how to swim with them, they just swim like they do without fins and don't realize how much they can help when used correctly. Long sweeps with your legs and no arm movement at all. Long gentle sweeps that is, not short movements with lots of power as we learned how to swim. Use just a gentle stroke when you are upside down (vertically head down, feet above you) to maintain depth. Our internal "flotation" will pop us up to the surface if we stop kicking and it uses more energy to stay down when horizontal than when vertical. We have to have speed forward to stay down but no speed is required when vertical, just a little gentle sweep of your fins. I love the music and your humor always! Thanks for making these videos.
Hi Tim and Marissa! Nov-Dec are not good months to tour Borneo as the rainy season is going to soak you up most of the time. Mar-Sep have the least rainfalls and your journey will be more pleasant.
@@2UpAndOverloaded Recently there are internet memes asking those who sing badly in Sabah to sing continuously so it can rain because it has been dry for some time. (Malaysians like to jokingly tease those who sing badly will make the sky pour.)
I just got your book, "Maiden Voyage" only a few pages into it but loving it. I bought it from Amazon brand new and not from another seller.
