Well, he's given lots of enjoyment and still is. In about 26 hours I get to meet him and then listen to his concert. I leave for it tomorrow morning in Salado Texas, can't wait.
I'm an entertainer and part of my inspiration and style were inspired by the heart and depth of Ray's voice. I can see my parents when I sing this music.
Lupe, I saw him on May 4th and a few days after that concert his wife told us he was in the hospital with severe dehydration. At 87 he just doesn't stop. Last word we had was that he was improving but it's been a few days since we've had an update. Prayers for him would be greatly appreciated by his family I'm sure.

And yes I still would love it if he was in the Denver area and I could finally see my biggest country hero. I love other greats but there will never be another Mr. Ray Price! I always felt like he sang songs that matched my life at the moment. One of the great ones that got me through a rough time was "Talk to my heart". Of course I love my sweet Lord Jesus above all others but he is in the top 5!

Well Janie posted tonight, he's out of surgery for kidney stones and seems to be doing well. He may get to go home in a few days. He's a tough guy so I'm hoping that finally all this crap he's been going through will settle down and he can get back on the road IF he wants to. I just want him healthy and if he slows down with his concerts, I'm fine with that. But putting him in your prayers couldn't hurt either.
