Thanks for your message. How a carrier fits you is a very individual thing. Carriers are like jeans - they fit everyone differently. The Beco Gemini is a popular carrier here which tends to fit a lot of body shapes and sizes. It tends to work best for the first 12-18 months. One of the selling points is that it can be used in 4 carry positions - facing inwards, facing outwards, hip carry and back carry. Ergobaby is another nice brand. The Ergobaby Omni 360 a lot more structured than the Beco Gemini. Some people prefer this but others prefer that the Gemini is more lightweight. The Nuna carrier has straps that are worn straight (also known as ‘rucksack’ or H-straps). Many people find the ability to cross the straps on the Beco Gemini and Ergobaby Omni 360/360 Breeze is more supportive as baby gets bigger. I hope that’s helpful! If you’re based in the UK you can purchase the Beco Gemini and Beco Gemini Cool from my website. All carriers are sold with a 2-week trial period, so you have 2 weeks to use the carrier as much as you like, to ensure it’s right for you. Full details are here: www.southeastslings.co.uk/try-before-you-buy I also have ex-demo and nearly new carriers listed with a discount in my Bargain Corner
Thank you, this was helpful
