Like the guy in New Haven 3 years ago in November who stopped at a yield sign getting on the highway. I came around the corner and it had just started to rain and ended up rear-ending the car behind the guy who stopped at the yield sign. And after he heard and saw the accident, he took off....

@@rebeccahetrick6576 While stopping at a yield sign if there isn't traffic and the view is good or if there is a merging lane is illogical, this is your fault as you didn't maintain a safe distance.

After watching so many of these videos, whenever I get gas, before I pull away from the pump I check my mirror to make sure I really did take the nozzle out!

When I worked at a gas station the hoses had breakaway attachments that snapped off if they forgot. It was a pain reattaching them, from what the boss told me.
The Solution could be so easy.
Put the Pump back before you are actually able to pay. Simple safety but i gues... MURICA

It’s not a hot tub. It’s a motorcycle tubby.
Looks like probably ADU. The goal is to have all the living requirements in a single floor/room; it would be especially helpful for old people who have trouble moving around.
Idk if it's actually an ADU tho.

It looks more like a laundry room in the garage. There is a washing machine in the corner. We used to have a second fridge out in the garage for drinks and leftovers from family events. The hot tub is really out of place still tho lol.

These are the people that won’t make it very far. If you can’t follow to easy simple directions you need a new brain or something idk know if that’ll even help at this point
They intentionally write instructions short and simple in large letters at Car Washes for this reason. You only have to do 3 things, and 2 of them are automatic! How do people mess that up? Stop, Neutral, Leave.
Those car washes are scary. Just ask my daughter when she was 3.
I manage a carwash, and lemme tell you. More often then not, the person who causes accidents is an ancient, senile Grandma/Grandpa. Just the other day a similar but more damaging event unfolded, and the old fart completely refused to own up to doing anything at all. He held strong the whole time he was in neutral. There really should be more rigorous road testing these days.

yeah, and since it was going relatively fast it would have probably killed them. the crash literally saved their lives
4:00 This is one of the reasons you ALWAYS signal. When you THINK it doesn't matter, it does. The guy in the pickup had no clue what the car was up to. Turning right? Parking on the side of the road? Picking up Billy? Answering a text? No clue, so he decides to pass and then oh, they're going to turn left with zero warning. It takes NO effort, thought or energy to signal and NOT doing it is just one of the laziest most narcissistic thing someone can do behind the wheel. JUST SIGNAL!!!

Yep, me too. Because of these videos, it has helped me to spot idiots when I drive. And, to buy a dashcam!

As a biker I do the same. I look for the problem before it happens, and also see what the driver could have done differently to avoid it.

4:49 I know this one isn't new. But good Lord that is such an epic, long lasting, hilarious stream of fail. Like, if you just told someone to wreck a car and let them go crazy, it wouldn't be this involved and thorough. And the many pauses that should allow the driver to reevaluate the situation, but they don't, just add to it. 🤣🤣🤣

This is truly one of the craziest compilations I have ever seen. The one clip at 6:34. This is supposed to be a "professional" driver? This guy is the most INCOMPETENT person on the planet ...which may actually be the "norm" in whatever country this incident took place.
I'm still trying to figure that one out. I could see the guy forgetting to set the brakes initially, because he's obviously a total idiot. Then he runs all the way round to the other side, when he could have jumped into the open door in front of him and reached the brake knob. Finally he stops the truck, then gets out and somehow forgets for a second time to set the bakes?
The brakes themselves obviously work, and the system is 'fail safe' meaning if there's a failure in the system the brakes are applied. All I can guess is there's some sort of issue preventing the brake knob from physically being set, in which case the truck should not be on the road, or the guys a national idiot.

It's almost as if the car at 6:11 was there to KEEP the pedestrians with the pram from getting obliterated by the speeding car.
Look again. They definitely speed up when they reach the halfway point. I think they saw what was about to happen and hit the gas.
There should be a setting to be able to put someone’s vehicle in time out if they do something dumb enough.

It's not really mind blowing any longer. If it's not on a smartphone, it's too complicated to use for most people.
i mean, i don't know how to use an automatic car wash. I've simply never had the luxury of getting one. My mom always said it was too expensive. Should i not have a DL just because my mom was broke? On a side note, i think hand washing is better anyways.

You should look up the "quick quack car wash" one. Guy practically flies through it.
As a Team Lead at a carwash myself, i put most of the fault for the carwash accident, on the prep. Most, if not all track based carwashes have emergency stops that'll stop the track if needed. In this particular scenario, when the customer continued to go over rollers, the prep should have hit the emergency stop and talked to the customer to ensure they were in the correct gear before letting them get as far into the sign as they did.
so many of these are just lucky to be alive moments ESPECIALLY that biker

Except they CAN'T do something about it. 90% of hit-and-runs go unresolved. That's like saying you should call the cops when you see someone running a red light. She had a better chance of convincing the driver stay. In fact, I would say her yelling and confrontation caused the driver to panic enough to fail at escaping.
Its also a matter of in the moment type deal. Your in a safe enviroment. Relaxed. She was just in an accident. And is watching somone try to run off and be even more of a danger right infront of her.
I hope she does better next time but i see no reason to hate on her for not thinking of this immediatly

That was the opposite, zero skill involved just a moron speeding on a bike through a red light and insane dumb luck timing saved his life. Pure stupidity and a complete lack of common sense made him just lucky enough to see another day.

As the general manager of a Full Service Car Wash and detailing shop, I can appreciate the first clip! I’ve had some similar situations that caused a lot of trouble. Plus no one knows how to put these new cars in neutral or how to release the electronic parking brakes, those rollers coming under because the car is parked happens 20 times a day!

It appears as though the white car and the bike were racing and blew the red light. The biker deserved to be caught up in that accident. I hope karma comes back to bite him for instigating that whole mess.

@6:37 That is why I always lock my truck in first gear before setting the brakes. It is my routine prior to delivering fuel. "Locked in first gear, brakes applied". This looks to be in another country. Perhaps our British or Australian friends. I think all of their lorries are manual as well. We have a lot of automatics here in the States. It wouldn't have been so bad if he had closed the internals.

ooooh that last one with the guy turning into the turn lane boils my blood. I see this all the time in my home town - people do it to “reserve” their spot in traffic when one lane is clear but not the other.
The result is that they clog up the whole damn road because now nobody can turn.

3 weeks ago I get called to an apartment complex my company tows from, there had been a hit and run.
By the time I got there, my guy had to call the police because the owner of the car being towed pulled a gun on him.
Seems the guy had done a brake check on an off duty cop and then took off. Guy denied it was his car, even when they showed him the dashcam video, Still denied it. Lost the argument when the cop pulled his bumper, with the license plate still on it, from his trunk.
Cop laughed, I laughed, guy was strangely silent.
