  • "After spending a day with the Vision Pro, I'm convinced it's a worthwhile investment. Here's why:
    *Entertainment Aspects:*
    1. *Apple TV+ Content:* The built-in Apple TV+ offers a rich selection of content, available for streaming without the need for downloads. The Immersive versions, exclusive to Vision Pro, such as "Adventure (Apple Immersive, Vision Pro only)," provide an exceptional immersive experience that truly sets it apart.
    2. *AppStore Accessibility:* The Vision Pro's AppStore allows for downloading well-adapted apps like HBO MAX and Disney, mirroring the viewing experience on Apple TV. This seamless integration ensures your favorite shows and movies are just a download away.
    3. *Non-Adapted Video Apps:* For video apps not yet adapted to Vision Pro, you can still download iPhone or iPad versions, offering a large-screen viewing experience. While it lacks the immersive experience, it's a temporary workaround as we await more apps to become compatible.
    4. *Versatile Viewing Options:* For personal 2D, 3D, and VR media, Vision Pro supports four viewing methods:
    A. Direct streaming from iCloud,
    B. Accessing content from an SMB shared folder within your network,
    C. Transferring files via AirDrop,
    D. Screen mirroring from a Mac, requiring the latest macOS version and the same iCloud ID.
    5. *VR Content Playback:* To play VR content in an immersive manner, a Reality VR player is necessary since the built-in file system can't play VR files immersively. Although Skybox VR player, a leading name in the domain, hasn't adapted to Vision Pro yet, Reality VR serves as a suitable alternative for now.
    6. *Web-based VR Viewing:* Unlike Quest 3, which allows immersive web viewing through Google Chrome, Vision Pro's Safari does not support immersive viewing, nor is there a Vision Pro-adapted Chrome. However, iPad version Firefox is available but also lacks immersive support. Currently, immersive VR viewing on Vision Pro is limited to Apple TV content and local files played through the Reality player.
    *Workplace Integration:*
    1. *Vision Pro's Processor for Work:* It supports reading all files via iCloud and using office apps like Word, though pairing with an Apple keyboard is advised for efficiency. It's compatible with a variety of iPhone and iPad apps, allowing for a multi-screen interaction within your workspace. Even QR code login for apps like WeChat or Telegram is made easier with the mirror function to another AirPlay-supported display.
    2. *Mac Processor Connectivity:* While you can link Vision Pro with a Mac for an immersive screen experience, it doesn't support split-screen and has a noticeable mouse lag, reminiscent of AirPlay lag to a large screen. Although video playback from Mac is feasible, it's not as smooth as native Vision Pro playback.
*Gaming:* I haven't delved into gaming on Vision Pro, but its potential for future fitness, board games, and immersive gaming experiences is vast and exciting.
In conclusion, the Vision Pro opens up a new realm of possibilities in entertainment, work, and potentially gaming. It's a pioneering step towards a more immersive digital experience, and I'm eager to see how it evolves."
