I almost bought a Defender, too... but they're so much more "tractor" like than G wagons. Gs feel 10x more built. Still want one though. They do make 4 door Defenders (D110s)
Yeah, I've seen a couple around. Both are getting more collectable. Never been in a G, but I'm sure it feels like a tank, and with all the mods you did, a luxury tank. You steamed the undercarriage... that's attention to detail bro.
I bought a brand new Land Rover Defender in 1995 and it was the biggest piece of garbage I've ever owned. I now own a G550 and the quality of build is 10 times better. Just because they kind of look the same doesn't mean anything at all.

Do you use any wheel adaptors? If yes how thick are they, i have the same setup, but my wheels are still covered by the fenders. Very nice looking G you have.

Did you have to get the computer recalibrated to fit those tires in order for the ESP to stay off during cornering?
When you installed the G55 fender flares, did you need to buy wider inner fender shield covers? I’m trying to do the same mod but now inner shields don’t extend all the way to the outside edge of the fender flare.
What happened to the old w460? I was literally looking to buy an old g-wagon yesterday because of your old g-wagon! On another note, extremely clean build and as usual, love your attention to details. Keep it up!
I sold it and ended up finding this one. The Diesel W460 is a way different and more "primitive" vehicle, so depends on your needs
Just purchased a 1993 w463 with an om606. Love your build, gives me inspiration on what to do to mine

How many hundreds kilograms carried around for no reason in that roof rack. Don't see those helping at all on road or offroad when u are stuck deep in mud cuz the vehicle weighs as much as 2-3 suvs put together.
